First of All: This is a serious post, no p**s take or anything, we have both had bad seasons, you thrashed us, yet we are slightly ahead in the table, at the end of the day, neither matters, cos both sides have survived.
Anyway, Ryan Lowe has so far played five matches for us, in two of them he was absolutely brilliant, his chances to win us games, and skillfully set up another goal.
On the other hand, he has been distinctly average in the other 3 matches, plenty of effort, but no real product. to be fair, the whole team weren't great in those matches, so i will give him a chance before forming an opinion.
I reckon he looks as if the kind of player who, out on the wing will try his best but doesn't have the skill or the pace to win games, but if you put him up front, he will score goals.
Any Thoughts??

Dont waste time thinking about it,there are more important things to do.
He's cr@p simple as.
I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt on many occasions, but I was kidding myself.
He'll hit the odd Beckham like pass and score the odd Roberto Carlos like goal, but overall............
he's bo$$ox believe me.............

He'll be superb in 1 game in 5. Unfortunately that just isn't good enough to carry him through the other 4. At least with Ryan you know within 20 minutes which one has turned up.

Ryan's the type of player you either liked or disliked.
On his day he looked class on a off day he looks a complete donkey gives the ball away cheap and never tries to win the ball back which winds up supporters.
Personally I liked Ryan but I think it was time for a change for us and him.
I wish him well in the future and I think he will get a good receiption when he comes back to play against us next season.

If Lowe is played on the wing then he will will be more ineffective than effective. Considering he was always played out of position here he had a decent scoring average though (10+ goals a season) but he did throw in some awful performances which is what most people remember.
Give him a whole season upfront in his natural position and I would not be surprised if he scored 15-20 goals.

Play him upfront and he will score goals.
And set them up.
Play him out wide and expect the inconsistant Ryan Lowe

i never understood why it was when on so many times he'd play crap, people would go, its's cos he was played out of positioal - he played on the wing for about 5 years. that was his position, if he hadn't got used to it in 5 years then that really doesn't say a lot about him!
