player/staff promotion bonus from Conf 250k Quinn given a new Jag Cooke has broken the agreement that was made, KS rebuted his claims, re-Lowe Peters decison and no one elses as the away supporters were told by GP himself. The boards respect for Peters is according to KS and listening to KS I believe he mean't it probably more than ours as they are privvy to all the work he does.

who'd have guessed it. He rejected all that DC said didnt see that one happening The main point he put across was 14 games and only 11 points, we were all screaming for quinn etc out and the board agreed ;D He could have said more I think but Quinn hasn't broken any agreement so the board has to keep thiers.

Re Lowey,
GP told us in the sponsors lounge it was his decision. Based on the fact that he thought he (Lowe) wasn't up for it & that Lowey had had his head turned by the earlier Chester offer. GP also said he played RL against Chester because he thought he'd show'em; and this he did.
Therefore fully justifying his decision to a) play him V Chester & b) sell him to the same side.

but surely in the current climate football finds itself, the players have just as much right to discuss and agitate for a contract before the summer, as the clubs have of postponing contract talks untill the summer.
Can see it from both sides, players want a head start, with the idea that if they have to move on they can get themselves fixed up before the pfa lists are released.
And clubs want to wait untill they know which league they are in.
Some players are prepared to wait, others when they know their are clubs sniffing about, want an answer for risk of being released a few months later, and the clubs showing interest previously signing someone else in the meantime, thus losing out on both fronts.

Your right Rob, but If the gaffa has stated there will be contract talks till we are safe then thats it, Lowe wanted to leave and had made it obvious, to the other players then through his agent to GP, its unsettling to have ANY player behaving like that, Lowe was within his rights to want a move, GP to keep the players settled just said ok of you go then.
