I said I'd let you know when 'Comic Tales' was expected to run with a chance. Have a look at the 8 o'clock at Wolverhampton tomorrow. He's been running well enough, but not getting the best of luck in the final 2. Ignore the last run as he was tried over a mile and just didn't stay. He's back over 5+ tomorrow which is his best distance. All I can say is that he's working really well at home and is definately up for it. To be honest, we'll be gutted if he doesn't go really close. Hopefully the market will be guided by the last run. DISCLAIMER: Those not 'au fait' with racing should note that anything can happen - particularly in a 5 furlong sprint

Thought it was staying on for a place but just never found enough. 5 furlongs more suited?

What can I say Didn't run a bad race, but .............. Jockey said he got forced wide on the last bend, which held him up. Odd thing was that we got 25/1 when the betting opened, and it came right in to 12's. Not sure where all that money came from. Horse finished fresh, hardly sweating. So much so that he's entered in the 6.05 at the same track on Monday
