It is time to honour a team that are going to cruise the premiership by 10+ points, and win the Champions league in style (and not via 2 dodgy goals in injury time). However, I think a more elegant tribute than I could possibly prepare, should be given by the board's own wordsmith JAMO. In your own time old son

Once again Ghost you are talking rubbish. I have waited all day for Jamo to reply to your pathetic post, so in his absence I shall fill the breech. First fact and this has always been the case Southern teams, especially those from the capital are full of wimps. They rarely win the league just look over the past few years apart from Arsenal who was the last team outside the Midlands and the North to win the top league? Ipswich Town in 1962 while both Manchester sides both Merseyside giants, Leeds, Villa, Forest, Derby and Blackburn have all lifted the title in that time. Second Chelsea have not won a thing yet and were lucky Saturday to get a late off side goal. No team has ever won the European Cup outside the Midlands and the North in this country. So we will give Chelsea a when they win something.

No team has ever won the European Cup outside the Midlands and the North in this country. And to think I wrote a report this afternoon about people in the North of the county always making decisions based on historic data rather than having foresight and vision to predict and prepare for the future

But nobody's ever taken the league cup seriously have they? Oxford, Swindon, Luton, QPR, Chelsea; all sorts of small clubs have won it - it's the LDV with the big boys putting out reserve sides.
Look at the crowds in the league cup - no-one cares about it. Even little old Fulham who haven't won a major trophy in 126 years put out reserve sides (and God knows our first eleven are sh!te enough) It's like the old Cup winners cup - well done and all that, but it counts for nowt in the grand scheme of things.

I'm not a betting man but i would place a small wager on the league cup not being Chelsea's only trophy this season. Whatever any club wins throughout the full length of a season they deserve to get. You don't get lucky for 9 consecutive months.
How they arrive at the position of being able to win things is a different matter. I would be more than content to see them fail at everything pirely for alturistic reasons.
As for all this nonsense about West Ham winning the world cup, get real. The only player with genuine talent from that era left Upton Park as soon as possible to join Spurs. The other two, whilst being decent players were to thick to see that they would achieve nothing with their club and chose security over professional pride.
Much the same as any decent player they have produced since, they leave to fulfill their footballing potential.
West Ham are a selling club with no ambition and probably the least informed group of supporters in the country who are aleays banging on about some imaginary golden period form the past.

Bobby Moore just a "decent player" If I didn't know JAMO was busy slapping young offenders around their heads this morning as part of a corrction programme, I'd be sure you were him. I bet the scoucers among them are getting a double thwack round the ear

I would also like to point out that i do not advocate the use of violence against the less fortunate and most needy members of our countrys youngsters. Tempted though i am at times by those in possession of a certain accent

Sadly Chelsea look like they have won the league, but I still dislike the club and was hoping Bayern would stuff them the other night.
