Some stuff I wrote down:
‘On the 11th hour of the eve of the season, players bonuses weren’t sorted, the Board were not ambitious and we started off on the back foot’.
‘There was no long term plan with the Board’.

Sounds about right. I wish I had the cash to take over this club and sort it out. I would really shake them up

Just heard it - he said he felt there was a lack of backing from the Board from the start of the season, and hinted at the Chairman being behind decisions about players, esp Ryan leaving. DC thought it was strange timing
I would have liked to heve heard more. He spoke sensibly, and said he has been back since to see games, and keeps in touch with players

Surely not questioning The Board are we???
I thought they did no wrong......
Kept us in the black all these years........
Means we have a Club, and The Bank Managers happy.......
Didnt think anything else mattered............
Before anyone comes on to defend them,(I've been calling them muppets for years) with stuff like what would you rather have better football and be heading for administration??,just remember playing good footie and going broke dont have to go hand in hand.
Many Clubs manage to play good footie AND have money in the Bank

Members of the the away supporters team et al will be able to confirm or refute my recollection but Gary Peters seemed to be aching to talk about Ryan Lowe leaving when he talked to us just before the Oxford game. The suggestion was made that there was disruption within the dressing room with rumour and counter rumour being put about regarding contracts. The way it was told we were seemingly being invited to draw the conclusion that Ryan was at the centre of that.
There seems to be an regular stream of people outside the tent p**sing into it after they have left the club. There also seems to be the odd one or two inside the tent cocking their legs too.
Inevitably people who leave will have opinions that differ massively from the people who remain - especially those who remain at the club and also remain in charge.
I was given some very good advice by someone who used to work at the club - Never be afraid to ask questions. Funnily enough I know someone who was advised the same thing - but by someone else who had departed the club.
Keep asking the questions and keep noting the answers - if any arrive - and making your own enquiries.
Financially I think we gambled everything upon getting up last season - squeaked through - and then had (have) nothing else remaining in the kitty. I have to say one of the big things that the board can be criticised for is appointing David Cook's biggest mate in the first place.
If all of this is in any way indicative then it does not bode well - in my opinion - for Gary Peters remaining at the club. But if the club let him go it would reap the whirlwhind.
