what disturbes me is that some idiot may kick off using a Juve of Liverpool shirt as a diguise and have both football clubs tarnished, hooligans and football are linked but the truth sometimes are blind to the media wanting a story.

How will the events at the San Siro last night affect the game in Turin ?
Difficult to say really, it may bring any idiots planning retribution to their senses. I would imagine the Italian press is full of calls for calm. The last thing the Italian F. A need is two of their biggest clubs embrioled in controvesy.
Personnaly i think inside the ground will be o.k. Different matter before and afterwards though !

My hope is that with this being such a high profile game and after the events of last night, the Italian police will adopt a no nonsense approach to all things stupid. It seems as if the Hooligan element are increasing in their activities again and not just in Italy. I like to think that we have contained our own idiots rather well in the UK, I also believe that the Liverpool fans travelling will behave impeccably, also they will be sheperded by the local police and segregated where possible. Still like you lot I am still nervous as to what could happen.....

In 1985 all English sides were banned from European competition after regular trouble in games and this ban lasted until 1991? or 1992? So far this season, in Europe we've had Roma fans pelting Andreas Frisk with missiles forcing an abandonment (yet apparently it was Mourinho's fault that frisk has retired apparently), Inter fans pelting AC players with flares. There were also numerous disgraceful scenes in the Italian national teams game against Scotland in Italy. Not to mention the appalling scenes against Welsh fans last year. Its about time UEFA produced some real punishments for other countries sides, rather than focusing on what Jose Mourinho or any english teams do. How are Italian (and various other continental fans) allowed to bring fireworks and bottles into grounds? And what on earth were the italian police doing last night to stop the flares being chucked? Slightly worried about tonight, i'm not a liverpool fan at all, but it does seem that there's a hardcore element in turin that want to cause trouble and want so called revenge on liverpool i just hope that we're worrying unnecessarily
