Your team is in the playoffs for the championship.
They are below Derby on goals scored.
You make the observation that it would be a shame to miss out like that in the end (which it would).
Your partner says (and I quote)..."your team are boring, they don't deserve to go up" when he hasn't even seen them play.
Do you.....
a) Smile sweetly and say oh yes, you are so right.
b) Rip into the barsteward and ask him what the hell he means by that?
c) Rip into the barsteward and lecture him on the fortunes of our two teams over the last 20 years?
For the record I chose option (b). Mr S&R thinks I misunderstood what he meant and that he was only saying that the team who scored the most goals should benefit in that situation.....
Could I really be misunderstand the phrase ..."your team are boring, they don't deserve to go up"?
Would you expect the to hit the fan if you said that?

To be fair to him Reading are boring. How many games did you go without a goal??? And no you can't class Kitsons ruled out effort

But when the team one place below you win their game in hand the arguement is academic anyway
