Thought there were some hillarious songs last night. I'd never thought i'd bust out another verse of Devon, White, White, White at a town game again Would have agreed that Cheltenham were robbed but then again they are a cr@p non-league team with truely awful fans-I was nearly deafend when they scored . Who play in a very dodgy looking area of a nasty suburb of Gloucester. As you can probably tell I really dislike them! Still Bury salvaged a draw in the last few minutes. I think if we beat Rochale on Sat Kiddie have to win all there games by a country mile and we have to loose all of our in a similat fashion? Unlike but it still niggles at the back of your mind don't it.

Am I alone in thinking if his name was "John Smith" or "Tom Phillips" then all this hysteria about him would be non-existant?

Am I alone in thinking if his name was "John Smith" or "Tom Phillips" then all this hysteria about him would be non-existant? Do you keep up with the reserves ? He's consistanly scoring goals and turning in performance after performance hence the 2 year contract offered by the club, biggest young talent to break through for years (other than Edwards)

Same as Kevin Street hes played some blinders lately in the reserves which is why hes being given another chance shame some of the fans cant see it that way

Same as Kevin Street hes played some blinders lately in the reserves which is why hes being given another chance shame some of the fans cant see it that way ...Quite agree Street is a useful player. as for Marcus, local young lad well supported by the people of his age and upbringing, but time will tell if he is at his peak or just starting on a great journey. For me the jury is still out.

I agree about the jury being out but by the sound of it hes getting a kicking while hes down and while your comparing ages Street and Tinno/O'connor God cant we give him a chance he only came on for a while last week you cant judge him off that. You should have seen him play in a couple of the reserves matches or perhaps the ones that were slagging him off last night should

Same as Kevin Street hes played some blinders lately in the reserves which is why hes being given another chance shame some of the fans cant see it that way I agree- which is why it touched a raw nerve when it was reported that some people had been taunting him on Friday night, saying he'll be on the dole next season! It says in the squad stats that he's 5ft 10in, though- and he's NEVER anything like that. But, as one of his other supporters said, he can use his lack of height to advantage, at times. Marco- yes, I think he'll be something of a "star" when he matures a little.

Am I alone in thinking if his name was "John Smith" or "Tom Phillips" then all this hysteria about him would be non-existant? Good point. However, if your name was Jason and you were 17, we'd think you were a right knob. But, you're Geoff, you're 13 and you're a legend

I think it's the best time to play Marco and Joe. We only need 4 points in 4 games to be safe with Kiddy and Rushden having to play well. So they get a bit of 1st team football, with still a bit to play for. Better than next season when hopfully we'll be pushing for the top, with every thing to play for.

Am I alone in thinking if his name was "John Smith" or "Tom Phillips" then all this hysteria about him would be non-existant? Yes you are. It's not hysteria it's hope . We have the opportunity to witness the beginning of a promising football career. The fact that he is local, has come through our youth system and is perfectly titled for football all adds to the equation. I still remain to be convinced but in the meantime he should have all our support , loudly and often.
