PILCH, I really don't think we should be deleting posts.
Let's get a policy first. One idea is to have a single thread for Sat afternoon scores etc.

One thread pinned to the top is what's needed.

It gets silly when the town score / conceed and within seconds there are a dozen threads about it. A pinned thread would be a much better idea but I do agree with the deleting of 'dead wood' from the board.

Confguide pins a score thread up for the afternoon. Could we do that? we could do and have done in the past trouble is it requires someone in the admin to constantly obtain and update the latest scores which isn't easy, neither does it guarantee the scores are as quick as some may want them to be

One thread pinned to the top for people to post score updates is what's needed. It might take a few weeks for folks to get the hang of it etc but it would work eventually.

No, it's simple, a member starts a thread around 3pm called 'Today's other scores' and another called 'Shrewsbury Vs XXXXXXX' and all posts are then kept on there during the game. Much easier for people to get the latest updates then. There's plenty of s**t posted on this board (I include myself in that!) that doesn't get deleted so let's get a little less trigger happy eh?
