Dont be daft, Peters wouldnt want to go to Chester, why on earth would he want to do that that?, its not as if they are bigger than Shrewsbury or have more potential.
Its wishful thinking by chesters long suffering supporters thats all!

He has been approached by Stephen Vaughan. Maybe the lack of progress on training facilities, stadium etc will come back to bite us. ?

He won't leave for Chester. They not as good as Town. That would be a step down in my book

STFC had stability in recent seasons. ? Vaughan has only spoken to 3 candidates, yet.

Maybe the lack of progress on training facilities, stadium etc will come back to bite us. ? 1) There is progress on the NM and its facilities 2) It would not be a suprise for Vaughan to approach GP, why not have ago? he made an approach for Tolley. Then came and had a go for Lowe, you only have to go back over GP's answers and comments over these situations to know what he already thinks of Vaughan.

I didn't say he was going, only that he had been interviewed.
I personally are less sure as to this info although it comes from the same well informed source. Hope he stays, he has far more scope for success here than than he does atthe Skoda Hubcap Stadium

You're a worrier, Geoff. Meet another one! Listen to the others- not me!!!!!! I think he would consider our superior finances, surely?

Well he is not under contract so there is little we can do. However, within the next few years we will have a new ground, with training facilities to follow apparantly. We are apparantly sound finacially and have a very amicable board. We have the starts of a decent squad, with most of the squad out of contract in the summer allowing him to shape the team/squad as he wishes. By talking to Chester one would hope he is trying to get the board moving on an improved offer? facilities, transfer money etc... It is merely strenghening his hand. If he goes, s**t happens, we move on, and abuse him to high hell

Good move on Garys part this.
Get an interview for the job with local rivals.
Save the team from relegation you have been working for on a non contract basis for the last six months and then go and see the Chairman about a contract for the next three years.
Gary holds ALL the aces.

I have to say and Im not calling Jamo a liar for posting the thread, but I cant believe GP has had an interview with CCFC when only the other week he was having a pop at them for their "half arsed" aproaches for Tolley and Lowe. So since Wednesday GP has had an interview for the job? Smells like bull to me

Who knows? but I would be surprised if it were true gven that GP is a very thorough person and would be aware of how difficult Vaughn is to work with. Of course if he does want a contract with us at the end of the season its not a bad tactic to let it be known that others are interested and could improve the offer he gets

He already has a contract which he has declined to sign for personal reasons which are very admirable, some of the posts on here are making the guy out to be some sort of scammer.
He wont sign his contract untill hes happy with everything at the club, hes not after a better deal or more money, he has stated on several occasions that contracts are not important to him and that has obvious advantages to the club.
Gary Peters will not leave Shrewsbury unless he is screwed around by the board.
Gary Peters to Chester......in your dreams !

He won't be goin, i've heard that he's told some players that they can leave so it's a sign that he's starting his OWN team.
