I've just been reading the match report on Shrewsweb.
It says "Tolley stood over the ball to a chorus of boo's!!!!"
It hit the wall, I believe.
Right- who should have taken it then?
Is Tolley usually rubbish away? When I went to Notts County, he was rubbish.

his free kick went near post (wide) and easily saved by the keeper.
Very poor free kick, had less power than the winning weak shot from Weaksville UK Weakest shot competition.

It said it hit the wall! I think somebody has been watching "Blackadder" sometimes! You haven't said who SHOULD have taken it- Rodgers? Sedge

The boos weren;t from us
It was at the Cheltenham end and they were booing him because of a foul in the first half that can only be descripbed as "industrial"

In the absense of Sedge, Tolley should have taken it.......... properly.

Certanly where i was standing noone was surprised when he hit it lamely at the keeper, it bounced before dropping into the keepers arms, almost like a back pass.... Noone booed, more just sighed... I'd have had Rodgers down to take it, he does apparantly take a mean free kick and if nothing else he'd have blasted the ball.....somehwere

the boos were from the cheltenham fans after jamies ealier challenge.. personally i didn't see anytthing too wrong with it, both lads flew in low and jamie caught their lad. the ref didn't see anything wrong with it until all the cheltenham players ran over and started to try and get involved.
