What do you both think of the announcement that Savage has retired from International Football?

Very enjoyable game tonight with the Town in control throughout, well deserved victory. Might just be tempted to go to Villa park now. Excellent crowd as well. Good stuff.

I fancy a trip to VillaPark for the final.
Out of interest - would seeing that match at Villa count for knocking a ground off the list of 92 clubs?

The way i see it is that it definately counts as a ground off the list if you havn't been there before. It will be a competeve match irrespective of the age of the two teams

Sorry to disappoint you all, but the final is almost certainly not at Villa Park. The usual practice is to play it at the home ground of one of the two finalists. Last year's final was between Notts County and Port Vale and was played at Vale Park. It has been played at Notts County's Meadow Lane before as well. No decision has been taken this year yet, the other semi-final, between Port Vale and Grimsby Town, must be completed first. that will be played next week...
