At least it will be a good one. A few lately have been real stinkers.
Are we sure its on a saturday or has Sven had his wicked way and switched it to a wednesday night?
BTW These semi's are also in Cardiff which is so so so WRONG!

A Few things: 1 The final location is supposed to be a special day, so now the FA are quite happy to make the fans pay a minimum of £45 a ticket, 2 sides will folk out twice! 2 Will Blackburn sell their alloted tickets? NO WAY 3 Whats wrong with Villa Park etc?

think its more of a goodbye to Cardiff as Wembley will be ready for next year.
having the semi's there gives a couple more teams chance to visit the MS, which is a great venue.
45 quid? carling cup tickets went from 24-54 i think

Minimum for an LDV last season was £35 I believe.
I dont think it is the last season at Cardiff, but The FA will still have the semi's at the new wembley.

Agree with JP on this one. It's a commercially driven deision that is contemptuous of the fans invoved with each club. The final venue should remain the privilege of the two remaining teams. Thats what makes the occasion special.

Forgot it was the last year in Cardiff. Wembley is going to be ace though Don't agree that the semi finals should be there.

think the fa cup semi finals should depend on the teams involved. back in 1991 the one semi final was moved to wembley as it was spurs and arsenal and with them both being from london it was daft to have them both travel across the country when wembley was so close. Since then a lot of semis seem to have been played at wembley when there isn't a real need.
Surely there could be more convenient grounds for these semis? Man City's or Sunderland for example?

in 2000 the semis were held at wembley also, i went wiv villa who won on pens and went again to the final.... i didnt get the same feeling turning up the 2nd time
semi's should take place at other grounds around the country, making the teams travel to cardiff seems strange, money talks thou

I reckon Newcastle are gonna win it...last time they won the Cup Chelsea won the League title, 50 years ago on the button. Stranger things have happened...decent odds on Newcastle an all...
Arsenal 5/4 Manchester United 11/8 Newcastle 5/1 Blackburn 12/1

If you ask me i think the FA have done it on purpose as recent FA Cup Final figures have been dropping. They thought by going for a UTD vs Arsenal final to pull in the viewers. Heres an idea for you BBC get rid of that joker john motson that'l pull some more viewers!!!
