Wonder if it's a racism-related thing? Especially if she paid particular attention when Rennie was being shouted down.

Wonder if it's a racism-related thing? Especially if she paid particular attention when Rennie was being shouted down. Thats what we all honestly thought, she had a M3 type recorder and it a had an offical looking sticker on it And to say she looked out of place and uncomftable in the riverside would be a understatment. she was defo recording us for some reason though and had a bag full of notes. As for JP and porky - i literally dread to think what you on about

her name is lee lewis, a local artist who's doing a sound piece on the last days at the gay meadow...
it'll be a website type installation so everyone will be able to view it.
i've seen the start of it and the sounds pieces are very good...
but then i suppose it depends if you like art and sound installations..

Didn't Danny Baker do a thing donkey's years ago on 606 where people tape recorders to grouds and played them on the show? Cue hysterics from the Bake "That was the sound of Sc***horpe scoring away to Brighton..brilliant!" Miss/Mrs Lewis would be better of sitting in the Wakeman Stand if she wants to get some decent recordings of what a traditional football crowd sounds like.

The obnoxiuos one has tweaked my curiosity. What do you mean by that adolf? Old Codgers moaning. Humourous abuse of players. Knowledgable fans. Cheering etc. Better than 50 spotty adolelescents singing "You're going home in a Shropshire Ambulance" which passes for atmos in the library.

Anyway, whilst the Wakeman Stand is my fave part of the ground, the tape recorder would struggle to pick up anything but the tired old joke of 'It's just like watching Brazil' followed by 'What, Alan Brazil'. Which is deeply hilarious the first time, but moronic as **** the 40th.

Gareth I cant recall being on either the Riverside or Wakeman end and hear moaning when weve played well and won, but on the Wakeman Stand I have heard it loads. The problem with a good percentage on the wakeman stand is that as soon as they sit down, they lose all sense of movement. They sit there staring straight ahead. I used to enjoy the wakeman stand but thank god that the Riverside has sucked me back over
