We knew that Luke would be missed- but, according to the commentary, we were defending well. I really thought they'd hold out, and get one point. The Maccy goal was just lucky, by all accounts. It happened just after I'd changed my Town sweatshirt for my replica shirt, because it was getting too warm in the kitchen. Nothing at all to do with it, of course - but you know when things are not good- and you think EVERYTHING might affect the score! How much of a set-back is this? Kiddy won. The important thing is that they don't lose confidence. The next game will be tough, too. Lincoln, away- and without Luke, again.

Doom is starting to set itself in my mind, only 9 points from the drop now.

Perhaps Luke will reflect again on how many bookings he picks up unnecessarily. I doubt it though somehow. The good thing is that Notts County were the ones that Kiddie beat and Chester lost again. Plus Cambridge only picked up a point.

To be fair to Luke, even Gary Peters thought he didn't deserve that last booking.
But- he has asked for it in the past.
He's really missed. Feel it will be very difficult till he's back.

It's Kiddie v Rushden next Saturday so at least both can't get 3 points closer
