...... Great at home, ****ing useless in Europe! ;D Because Wenger cannot adapt to European Football. 8 Seasons in the Champions League and they cannot get past the quarters.

I love watching Arsenal lose. A pity Chelsea couldn't have been knocked out too, not that I have an anti-London bias or anything I wish Man Utd had won though, and it was good to see Liverpool on such good form.

What a shame Arsenal are no longer flying the flag for English clubs in Europe, when they have a grand total of one half-English player in the squad.

Hows Ashley Cole half English? Via his mother. Unless she's actually Irish or something.

Hows Ashley Cole half English? The US Constitution recognized slaves as property, if declared to be so by states, until the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment. My guess is that Cynical is stepping back a couple of hundred years and would be at home on a Mississippi Plantation counting his property. PS the South lost the ensuing war

Because Wenger cannot adapt to European Football. 8 Seasons in the Champions League and they cannot get past the quarters. if they were going to win it, it would have been last year when on fire. This year they just havent showed the same class. Theres loads of opinion about their 'keeper situation and centre halfs, but IMO, they need another top striker to compliment Henry who burdens the goalscoring responsibility.

Personally I think the arse just don't have the finances to compete, if you were to look at how much their current squad has cost to assemble against manure and chelski its probably a lot lot less. The most expensive players were Henry at about 12mil and Reyes at 17.5mil (performance related) but not that much more.
Certainly think that they made a mistake in the summer in letting 4 experienced squad players leave that haven't been really been replaced (Keown, Parlour, Wiltord and Kanu)

Henry pointed out in the press that if Arsenal are outspent by Spurs and Birmingham then what do people expect?
The fact is once the stadium is finished then the cash will flow
or they will die in a mountain of debt
