I dont know about you lot but i think that Luke Rodgers is much more effective when playing on the wide right. We saw today that his crossing ability is far superior to Aistons. He played on the right at times today and showed his class. Great goal too! (he even won himself a header!)

I would rather have seen him start there instead of Sheron.
Would have put Sheron up with Langers and had Luke coming in from the right to make a third striker. His pace gets us behind defences, and yes he puts in some good crosses.

I think Luke is best when he is given a free role upfront.
The two seasons when he netted 22 +20 goals or something, he was allowed to pick the ball up in the channels (more specifically in an advanced position on the left) and cut into the box and score with his right foot.
