Wonder what type of reception he would get if he brought Posh to the Meadow

I'd boo him The mess we're in at the moment is 100% down to him. Don't give me this rubbish about him getting us promoted etc, we got promoted because we had a goalie that could save penalties- Any decent manager would have got us up automatically and with ease. He destroyed our best player and got us lumbered with awful CONFERENCE players. The only good things Quinn ever did: Signing Howie and Walton...No other signings are good enough IMO. Resigning

Talk about re-writing history. What's all this rubbish about: "I know the division...." He didn't show much sign of that while he was in charge of STFC. And is he completely absolving himself of any responsibility for Posh's plight as well? He is the first team coach after all. Still, one thing is for sure, if he takes over, he will be back in a division he knows - the season after next.

Don't give me this rubbish about him getting us promoted etc, we got promoted because we had a goalie that could save penalties Whilst I agree with most of this thread I think the quote about only got promoted because we had a goalie that could save pens is a bit harsh. We did have to get to that position over 42 other games as well first - not difficult as the standard of the Conference was pants and we should easily have gone up as champions IF we had a decent manager.

I don't think JQ will ever get the credit he deserves for last season, probably because he did not make the necessary changes this summer, and we struggled.
IF he has learned from that, he might be well equipped to take Posh back up out of a division I rarely recall them being in.

As you probably know I dont share any of the gratitude many of you have on here for his performance in getting us promoted.
In Management terms the bloke proved himself to be a clown for me long before that season ended never mind his totally inept and clueless antics during our League Two campaign.
Clueless and lucky are the only words I will ever associate with the fella,oh and maybe arrogant as well.
Anyway I love his quote of "I know the League we are going into",he's obviously got the Conference in mind already.
I feel so sorry for those Posh fans, poor bu$$ers.........

I guess it's 3-5-2 for Posh from now on then, thankfully he is too old to register as a player now.

JQ was on the Sports Breakfast with Brazil and Beaky this morning.
If Barry Fry cannot sell the club JQ is manager next season.
If BF does sell the club JQ said he did not expect to be there.

If quinn comes back to the meadow, there'll be a sell-out crowd just to get on his back

Whatever Quinn's failings (which from what is banded around is often third hand hearsay, or something allegedly from a disgruntled player or employee), the fact remains that he was in charge of the team that got us out of the Conference at the first time of asking - that's what we wanted him to do and however we did it, this was achieved - for that I will always be grateful. Subsequent events clearly not great and his level is probably at the Conference. Always amazes me though how the manager never gets the credit when a team does well. In our case, everyone on here always says it's entirely Ratcliffe's fault we got relegated, should have done this, should have dropped x, should have signed y etc. - surely then Quinn must be due a large proportion of the credit for the promotion. Remember everyone reckons Turner is a good manager but he is still in the Conference and has every chance of still being there at the end of the season.

No not really watching how some of his players play now it just confirms to me we got promoted regardless of Quinn.

Remember everyone reckons Turner is a good manager but he is still in the Conference and has every chance of still being there at the end of the season. The very fact Hereford 1) exist 2) are challenging in the conference are a testament to the skill of Graham Turner. The simple fact is they don;t have two beans to rub together, but he has consistently built good sides playing good football from bargain basement and hand me down failures Compare that with Quinn plucking whoever he wanted from the league and paying hefty wages (Darby, Cramb, Howie, Tinson, O'Connor) - and Hereford finished 17 points above us

Spot on, but some people will never see it that way. It will be interesting to see how Posh do next season if JQ gets the job. Obviously, if they are above us he will be lucky again
