Am I being too pesimistic?
N'hampton away - L Oxford home - W Cheltenham away - D Dale away - L Notts Co. home - W - providing they are not in bottom 2! Swansea away - L Scunny home - L
Cannot see us getting more than 1 pt away. By my reckoning thats 7 points and leaves us on 49 cutting it mighty fine if Cambridge and or Kiddy are up for the fight:(

Don't forget Rushden too. If we get 7 points then I am sure we will stay up because I can't see 3 relegation haunted teams all going on promotion form.

whos to say we will lose against them teams tho? anything can happen on the day. the ods may be stacked against us, but i mean you have to be optimistic and get behind them really...we will pick up more than 7 points before the end of the season trust me

Why does everyone keep leaving Notts co out of the equation??
They are in absolute free fall and still have to come to us.Not as daunting a prospect as we'd like I know but better than going to their place.
I know last night and todays result was disappointing but it seems to me people think we are the only team in the danger area that are going to drop points in the remaining games.
Yes we will but so will all the others.
Dont know in what order from the bottom but I'm confident we'll finish above Cambridge,Kiddy,Rushden and Notts Co.
Make my life hell on here after the Season's over if we go down,I wont give a monkeys cos I need to get out more anyway..............

7 points should be more than enough to see us stay up

7 games to go, so lets look at the form table for the last 7 games
P W D L F A PTS Kiddy 7 3 3 1 10 7 12 Cambridge 7 3 2 2 8 7 11 Rushden 7 2 3 2 8 8 9 STFC 7 2 2 3 10 7 8 Notts C 7 2 1 4 8 14 7 Jester 7 1 2 4 7 16 5
If this form was repeated over the last 7 games the table would finish as follows
PTS GD STFC 50 -2 Notts C 50 -23 Kiddy 48 -29 Jester 47 -33 Rushden 46 -18 Cambridge 43 -16

PESSIMISTIC maybe? Check the others out
NOTTS Co : Yeovil A Lincoln H Oxford A Grimsby H Shrewsbury A Bury H and Cambridge A
RUSHDEN: Grimsby A Yeovil H Bristol R A Boston H Darlington A Grimsby H Macclesfield A
CHESTER: Bury H Darlington A Boston H Bristol H Leyton O A Northampton H Oxford A
CAMBRIDGE: Southend H Swansea A Darlington H Sc***horpe A Rochdale H Rushden A Notts County H
KIDDERMINSTER: Mansfield H Wycombe A Bury H Yeovil H Boston A Grimsby H Northampton A
I would not rule Notts Co out of the equation and look at Cambridge's last two games!!
Whilst we should all be concerned for the Town , I rather think a bit of pressure is building on all the sides above!!
My tip OPTOMISTICALLY Cambridge and Rushden to go down!! Sorry C & R but someone has to go!
To replace them ........BARNET and I would like Aldershot but I have a nasty feeling it will be Carliar!!

The last few seasons have made us pessimistic. I dont think many of the teams around us would be expecting us to finish up going down. It seems everyone is now expecting Kiddy to stay up but I am not so sure- like them we were the form team a few matches ago and now we are back in the mix- dont think their run will go on much longer

APOLOGIES In the RUSHDEN fixtures substitute Cambridge away for Grimsby A(its real and it makes it tougher)
Chaz you may well be right. One thing is certain our home games are massive and starting with Oxford we need three points!

Looking at those fixtures i feel that Rushden are definately going down. Those fixtures are probably the worst out of the lot. The thing that concerned me about Rushden is that they dont seem to bothered about going down. They have been in freefall for the last couple of months with that caretaker manager bloke then go and apoint him full time???!!!!
We'l be OK, I have faith in our team and Gary!

ITs a worry - if we play like we have in the last 2 games then getting any points will be hard!!!
Need a draw this Monday to turn things around - or at least a goal, but i fear that it could be anotehr loss monday then the batle really beigns cos the players and peters have taken there eye off the ball by the look of it!!
