Luton top of the division, 3 down at home after 40 minutes. Guess which team I had a couple of quid riding on

Craig - looks like one of those strange results that can happen from time to time. Barnsley have nothing much to play for but seems today that everything they hit is going on (they've also hit the woodwork). It's not that Luton aren't creating anything, they've had 12 shots to Barnsley's 9 ! Not much use though when I had a few quid on Luton to win, and had 4 of their players to score the first goal

I'd given up betting a month or so back due to so many fluke results going against me. Thought i'd dabble a bit this afternoon and it seems the bad luck is still following me around!

Luton down to 10 , but I had a couple of quid on the bookings index so i've won that. Just need a 5th goal now and I will be very very happy.

I'm gonna win a fair bit if Hull and Yeovil win their respective leagues so I'm well happy Luton got turned over...hope Hull can do the business against the Vale tomorrow!! I'll be in front of the box cheering Yeovil on tomorrow an all...

I'll be praying with you, Stuttgartershrew! I've got Chelsea (laughing), Ipswich (5 points off, but Sunderland still have to go to Wigan and Ipswich), Hull (very tight) and Yeovil (very tight) - if they all come in then I'm nine grand better off on a £5 bet. It's going to be a very tense final few weeks for me and that's aside from Fulham becoming involved in a relegation struggle!

9 grand, nice! If I were you i'd put a few small covering bets on Sunderland, Wigan and Luton so that you at least make a couple of hundred profit whatever happens. I do think Sunderland have what it takes to win the league, they are really on form at the moment and will take some beating.

Yeah, I think they'll be a couple of cheeky bets going on shortly. Sunderland are grinding out wins, but they've still got some tricky games away from home - a Brighton mate saw them lose down there against a ten man Albion side and reckoned they were pretty poor, so I'm hoping they put in a few more of those performances.
It's bad enough getting stressed about your own club, but since Christmas time, I've been plunged into depression by random things like injuries to Hull players and I've found myself semi-obsessed with the week's fixture list - it's not healthy!

Indeed...I was thinking the same, lay bet on Hull and Yeovil but waited a while and I'm glad I did. Both teams now top...just hope they stay there... Will wait a while before putting down a couple of covering bets...
