Not everyone will agree but my opinion
Never seen a player bottle so many challenges for years, clearly rates himself with his Silver and Blue boots, players like him were the reason we ended up in the Conference, players who simply werent BOTHERED, only game I thank him for was when we beat Plymouth at home way back in 02-03.
Thanks for the goal at Kiddie
Rot in the reserves at Chester you overated Tw@t

Not everyone agrees But i bloody well do If he comes here with chester next year he will be booed by me for spending 5 years of our wages for very little return then attempting to come back here and take points of us. Frankley though he will be out of there team so quick when they realise that performances like against chester are very few and far between

No problem I did not like him when he was here too much - and not going to be happy when he comes back So are you dissagreing with GP about creating intimidating atmopheres??? I would hope every one gives him stick and puts him off his game - like we try to do every week on the riverside with one player or another!!! Gp wants oppostion fans to feel the "heat" where there here so boing of players is just part of that

I'm all for getting the atmosphere going like it was for Kiddie etc. but you can be intimidating to the opposition without doing things that may well motivate individual players.

Never liked the bloke - remember the game against Carlisle which relegated us? - comes on as sub then head butts one of there players
If we are to get out of this league the right way(up) then we need battlers not show ponies who think there the mutts nuts

Its debatable - like any crowd reaction its 50/50 how a player or team will react to it. I have always belived getting on a opposition players back will put them off. I think Lowe retrning anyway to a club he spent 5 years at would be motivation enough anyway!!! There are only 11 player i support during a town game and thats the 11 in blue (or white/red) shirts!!! Anyway im off for a run - I would love to discuss Ryan Lowe all night but hes finally gone so, thats then end of that And gaz remember hes not a t**t he was a prick

As we're being open and honest.... I've got 4 years worth of boos that i wanted to give give him but never did cos he was in amber and blue and would never do it to one of our own!!! Boy he's got some credit saved up with me....! He'll be in their reserves by then anyway...

can't believe some of the stick lowe is getting on here over the last day or two. Ok he's not the greatest but far from the worst. and Mr Pricey are there no shades of grey in your world? someone is either gets one-eyed adoration (Darby) or is rated as completely useless & motivations questioned (Lowe).

It isn't necessary to give him so much stick, surely? He was inconsistant, sure. Ducked out of tackles- that's the downside. The upside is that he HAS scored for us, and is known to be friendly and approachable with the fans. Surely it's best to thank him for the good times and let him go in peace? Since so many comments have been so vicious- is it, perhaps the fact that he has so willingly gone to Chester, and may want to go, as it's nearer his home and it's said that he admires Ian Rush? Why do people want to give him abuse when (if) he returns with Chester next season? Secretly- are one or two people afraid that the move will give him a new lease of life and he'll gain a few points for Chester? (To be honest- I'm a BIT frightened of that!!!) Wishing people ill (as in "rot in the Reserves) is risky- it can rebound on you.

Lowe scored his fair share of goals the season we got relegated. I would offer the opinion that maybe if you quell your hatread of Lowe and look at the stats for that season you may see that we conceded 92 league goals. I would suggest that conceding 2 goals a game on average probably resulted in our relegation, after all we scored more than some of the teams in the play-off spots. But its useless reasoning with people who posess such hatread and your post is a pretty poor reflection on you, much like Glyns are on him

Pricey, will you be boooing Duane if he ever makes a return? In a word no – I see that goal in the playoff final as a fine return on whatever we have paid him the last year and a bit!!

Like has been said booing Ryan on his probable return next season will hurt the lad initially but will motivate him also.
And a motivated Ryan Lowe is a very dangerous player as we have seen.

I think the name "WakemanShrew" tells us all I need to know about this person. Where do you find the biggest bunch of whingeing, moaning and annoying fans? In the effing Wakeman

I hope people don't tar all supporters in the Wakeman Stand as whingers, moaners etc. I go there because my 4 year old son can't see from the Terraces! Although I must agree with you as a generalisation - there are a LOT of moaners in the Wakeman Stand - mostly old geezers who think they have a right to moan because they've watched the Town for years and years.

a lad shows commitment and stays at a club for 5 years cos 2 managers thinks hes good enough, he scores goals from midfield, 12 of which in the promotion season from the conference.... so we'll just boo him, thats classy that is lads, fair played to you all. Take it you the same people who boo lee steele when he comes back to the meadow, its truely shocking booing ex players when they have served your club for so long and given their all, and its bulls**t if you didnt think lowe gave his all....
also can i propose all ryan lowe threads to be banned from now on, cos it a)doesnt show people in very good light at times b) getting boring c) its just a slaggin match between people on b+a

So mr Price, you would credit Darbys goal in the play offs for the extortionate money he is on?
so Ryan Lowes goals that actually helped us get in a position to get to the play offs count for nothing?
But most of you seem happy chugging along on your little bandwagon.
so whos going to be next for you bandwagon boys then?

never rated him as a player but then we have had a lot of dross over the past few years. still, at least he acknowledged that the fans have always been good to him at town.
