I was annoyed by Lowe as much as the next man, But looking at this pic I *almost* feel, in the depth of my stomach, a tinge of sadness [ftp]http://www.salopsnaps.fotopic.net/p8766319.html[/ftp] ... And then I see this picture of him blazing his shot straight at the goal keeper Vs Histon, and the feeling of sadness goes [ftp]http://www.salopsnaps.fotopic.net/p9424736.html[/ftp]

Hate is not the word that I would use, get annoyed by Lowe might be nearer the mark

Maybe immature comments is a bit strong, but continual slagging off from certain areas......just beyond me...

I don't always agree with Paul, but in this case - Well said I think we will find it difficult to find someone who can do something a bit special now and again, like both the Chester games and Kiddy away this season. Hopefully Dave Edwards can take over in the long run, but we do not have another midfielder who comes near to scoring the number of goals Ryan has (he says without checking ).

I was watching Ryan before the Licoln game, before the match all the lads were warming up and stretching while Lowe was sat on an advertisement laughing and watching the others warm up? ?? Shows how much he cares!

Good luck Ryan. Never given a run up front, but still wieghed in with many important goals. Clearly struggled out wide, he'll score goals again if played as a forward. All the best fella.

No need at all for all this hand wringing and gnashing of teeth over the departure of one player.
It's a fact of football life that players come and go on the decision of the man in charge. In this instance nearly everyone would prefer Peters to be at the club than Ryan Lowe. If the big man is happy with the situation then so am i. STFC will be here long after the both of them.
Good luck Ryan where ever your career takes you from here. Thanks for the memories.

I never liked the mob mentality on here that singled out Ryan for abuse every time we lost, the other 10 were always blameless, apparently.
I also never thought that he was a league standard player, especially as a striker.
Hope he proves me wrong, good luck Ryan.

anytime you get sad about it, just think back to that depressing tuesday night at home against carlisle when we needed to get a result and ryan decided to help the cause by getting sent off for ing an opponent within a minute of coming on.

"woe woe woe" hang back on the slagging each other off chaps and chapesses. Ryan wasnt always to blame for a defeat, in a few cases he was picked on because he hasnt always been the perfect player. Either excellant or total garbage, either 100% effort or nothing. I can think of a good dozen other players who have had stick given to them whilst b&a has been alive...it wasnt always Ryan.
Ryan has at times been an asset to STFC and I thank him for that, but we can do better.

the differing opinions on ryan demonstrate his inconsistency
On Saturday he shanked a woeful cross intot he stand, would have got sent off had his two footed lunge made contact, and tried a dipping 30 yarder, all in a short cameo substitute appearance
In Mossy's last game he scored two and dragged us back into the game as the captain

I wish him good luck. But he was a luxury a team struggling in the basement division could not afford.
