The player stayed down for a long time before strecthed off , however he wasn't exactly the innocent party when he made his initial challenge, and when he went down he clutched his head, ankle, knee, making a meal of things, hope he recovers ok.

Must of ran into a brick wall by what I read. Don't worry Duncan, he'll be OK once his mum's rubbed it better

Looked a very nasty injury to me. People hold their head when they get an injury, it's a sign of being bloody gutted. Hope the lad's ok but I think he could be out for a fair while.

He encountered the injury due to the clumsy challenge he made in the first place he should have recieved a yellow card at the least.

Keith Alexander says he hopes he's OK for next week. He's not that bad after all

It looked like a terrible piece of play acting
then he stayed there
and stayed there
and stayed there
and got stretchered off...

It looked like a terrible piece of play acting then he stayed there and stayed there and stayed there and got stretchered off... and we're sposed to feel sorry for the fecker. If we don't we deserve to go back to the Conference apparently. "You're just a s**t town from nowhere......."

I don;t think we need to be harsh about it
the fact is it a few minutes to see how serious the injury was
before that I was furious at what looked like blatant play acting

Don't feel bad about it Dave. He scored against us, he's a villain

He looked like he'd gone down for absolutely nothing and was making a real meal of things.
Then it became apparent that he must have fallen quite awkwardly and was in real pain. I have to admit to being a bit shame faced about giving loads of verbal for going down and would apologise. Hope he's back to fitness soon - and scores a brace against Rushden next match.

These things happen.
He looked like he'd fained the injury to start with.
Unfortunately the professional game is in a sorry state of affairs when we can't tell if an injured player is feigning injury or not.
The majority of Shrews fans clapped the guy as he went off to pitch
