I got this on an e mail from "Homes Of Football" which I thought might be of interest to anyone on the right side of Britain: "News 9th October 2003 Gay Meadow calling ! The Homes of Football opens its doors at Barker Street Shrewsbury evening of 22nd October with an exciting show jointly-chosen by the Museum staff. The local team meanwhile ride high in the Conference in their first season since relegation from the Football League. Plans for a new Stadium were on view. Meanwhile Reading Museum, staging a bigger show of The Homes of Football has a Football Crazy for Family Learning Weekend Sunday 12th and will be parading the Premier League Trophy on Saturday 18th. Pictures from both exhibitions will be posted on the web : www.homesoffootball.co.uk" He does get some great pictures. Personally I like the one's he gets of fans or quirky areas of football grounds, rather than the great stadia. If you ever visit the Ambleside museum, he will get a load of STFC slides out to show you, with hardly any notice. Well worth the visit, so hopefully the above exhibition will be as well. Has this been advertised particularly locally?
