Who do you think desevers the no.1 jersey? Hart looks good. Howie is spectatular. Dunbavin is safe.- Though i like the look of Howie, he has a problem with set pieces, and Bavo usually didnt communicate with his back four - But then again.. Any one who went to Tamworth would see that Howie isn't perfect at that either! I must confess i would feel more secure at Salop games if we had Bavo in between the posts? Yes/No?

With Howie in goal we have a keeper who I am confident with.
He's certainly an improvement on Dunbavin.

I said when Howie was signed that the perception of a confidence within a keeper is vital. I had a favorite then, but didn't say as it wasn't fair before I'd seen him again. I think that Howie does edge it, based on knowledge of them both longer than this season, but feel that Dunbavin could gain a lot from having to fight for his place. I do feel that JQ may believe that Hart offers enough cover though, and given budget restrictions, this could make it tough for Bavo.

Howie is a little better than Bavo, but i'm far from confident in him, particularly his decision making and handling of crosses

Tend to go along with the Prof here, must be the season of goodwill........... I prefer Howie out of the two of them but to be honest I really dont rate either.............Howies weakness is,as has been said before, his decision making when coming of his line when its a 50 50 ball between him and a defender............. He's far better than Bavo in the air at crosses, though he chooses to punch a little too much for me,and I think hes a good shot stopper............a save of his at Woking this season 1st half was outstanding. God my first days holiday for 9 months and I'm on here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sad or what? ??

Howie, without doubt. He tends to punch, when sometimes he could catch, but Bavo would stay rooted to his line, and do neither. Who could forget the first minute at Cambridge, last season, when Kitson headed home a cross, unchallenged, from the 6 yard line.

I prefer Bavo to Howie personally. And Atkins to O'Connor
