i dont no how many of you read the shropshire star of have heard but a 17 year old lad from oswestry was killed in a car crash last night. he was a season ticket holder of several years at the town and i no carl walker will be dearly missed by all his close friends and family
anyone have any ideas about black armbands etc for the next game i no it would be greatly apriciated as he was a MASSIVE town fan

Didnt know him, and regardless of his footballing alegiances, its tragic and my heart goes out to his family.

i had seen of him with a mate called ruddy gutted for ruddy seem a nice bunch of lads!!! i dont know carl but was sup[posedly meetin these lasds on sat for a pint kind of gutted that we wont be meetin cos of this very tragic event my thought go to his family and friends

Very Sad. So young. Such a waste. RIP.
If you have been through Harmer Hill this week you will have seen the flowers by the Bus Stop outside the Red Castle.
Another tragic accident, and another young life lost.
It has had an awful effect round the whole village.

As has already been said it is terribly sad when anyone young loses their life, and difficult for the family to come to terms with. RIP

RIP Carl, all of us from Oswestry at sixth form have been stunned by this news. Nobody knows what to say, a really nice lad, and a great loss.
i would hope for a minutes silence on saturday.
