Place these four managers in order of managerial ability Quinn McNally Peters Mick Jones OK I Know who's last , and in the interests of diplomacy, I would understand you not wanting to rank McNally - but feel free if you do. Very interested in how you rank the other 2 though

I would quantify that by:
Peters - has turned around a poor team to a battling team and has moved wiftly to make his mark on the squad
MJ - Spoke to him at length after the end of last season and his plans for the team etc. he made great sense and was a joy to listen to. His tactis the first half of last season were confusing though!!
JQ - he did a job in getting you guys promoted, but I think it put you back a couple of years if i am honest
BM - looked very inexperienced at the start of the season, but he seems to be hardening up now and giving some of the players what for. he will always be last due to his inexperience, impossible to judge until the end of the season really!

A very fair and reasoned assessment I've always thought BM too nice a bloke to manage, hopefully he'll prove me wrong Mick Jones - mad as a fridge - but a good people person with a broad knowledge of the game JQ - Hmmm, something wrong, but difficult to pinpoint Peters - well........2 months on from Histon its unrecognisable ..........some achievement

I'd disagree with SNFC on this.
I'd say:
Peters McNally/Quinn Quinn/McNally Jones
Peters seems experienced and seems to have a good head on his shoulders
McNally is adapting well to his job and has got a brand new team firmly wedged at the top part of the table
Quinn bounced you up from the Conference, but failed to aspire in the league
Jones was tactically inept, top bloke, but will probably never make it as a "decent" manager

Impossible to mark this season yet, any manager with at least double the spending power of their rivals, should be able to get a squad wedged in the the top part if the division we are in!
