....met up with Hugh from Stockport (Edgley Shrew) taking copious notes of the action. I was only there for 2nd half. Clampitt and Ling looked promising. Without taking too much out of Edgeley's match report, Ling put in a very good 25 yd free kick which was heading for the top corner, but the keeper kept it out and from a similar position from resulting corner nearly put away a dipping volley. He seems to have quite a shot on him,

Thought you might ask those questions, but don't want to say too much and take away from match report. But to answer your questions. 3-0 to MU, and Clampitt played Ok wothout being outstanding - early days yet.
