back 24hrs to be live on BBC HATE watching football on BBC - patronising, boring, uninspiring presenters and pundits. Terrible commentators. Sky much better

At least on BBC it's free (well there's always the licence fee) and everyone can watch it
So we can't really complain

Completely disagree with Matt - BBC coverage is miles better than Sky (we won't even bother talking about the bunch of idiots at ITV) - Available to all - History and tradition not just buying success/coverage - Jocky Hansen is the best TV pundit (I accept Lawro ain't up to much) - Jimmy Hill isn't there anymore having taken the Murdoch shilling - Motty's daft comments - No Murdoch factor - No Richard Keys - No Andy Gray always banging on about how he would have scored from there (don't remember him being a 60 goals a season player ) or having watched 20 replays from every angle at 1/10 of the speed that the ref possibly made a mistake - No bloody adverts which only seem to advertise other crap Murdoch products or programmes - At least the BBC realise that football existed before the Premiership started and ruined football for all but the elite

On this occasion and this occasion only, It would appear that the snapper talk's sense.

Agree absolutely and totally with Mark Rowley. The BBC coverage is the best, most professional and always will be. Come on Exeter

Have to say I agree with Matt too although the adverts do really really irritate me. Would the BBC of ever screened the play-off final?

Probably not but that wouldn't worry me. My argument to anyone who thinks I need Sky Sports is: The only team I am really interested in is Shrewsbury and I will be at their games anyway - so I don't need Sky. Just as an aside: If the BBC did cover the Playoff final it would be more professional. However, my usual line is that I agree to disagree with you

I'd prefer to watch a match on the Beeb myself, but there isn't a great deal between the two broadcasters.

I hate Sky but have it simply because I can't live without test cricket. Sky football coverage is good because it is so broad but for that you must pay of course. Sky has been very innovative in the way it's covered all sports, football included. But Sky has ruined the football dream by flooding money into the pockets of the top clubs. It has effectively killed off many small clubs or at least their dreams of rising through the leagues for a crack at the top divisions. For this reason the Dirty Digger sups with Satan in my book and now he's bought up all the cricket as well! Yet I am a Sky subscriber - kill me I am in a contradictory hell

On this occasion and this occasion only, It would appear that the snapper talk's sense. jamo - thats about the 4th opinion on the trot that you have agreed with me... I think we should start a revolution For the record - Sky have been inovative and have changed the boundaries in which football is broadcast. You get what you pay for. Sky use the best equipment, employ the best in the business behind the lens and BBC are just playing catch up Id personally perefer ad breaks and pay for Sky than have BBC - you get what you pay for
