Yep....I look forward to pre season with interest....but the players won't!!!!🏃♂️🏃♂️😭🥵 Maybe they will learn to appreciate the pre season when they are playing games without the puffing and panting after 60 minutes?
Maybe we will be a bit higher up the table?
Maybe it won't do their careers any harm?
I doubt most of those players puffing after 60 minutes wont get the PH treatment come next pre season. They will be gone either because (a) they are earning too high a wage for our club or (b) they just arent up to the required standard.

A week in Borth and Aberdyfi running up and down them sand dunes, that'll get them fit 😅 Interestingly, I remember Wrexham had a few years doing pre-season on the beach at Aberystwyth. Would have been in the late 1970's under Arfon Grifffiths or John Neal? I remember the Physio/Trainer (George Showell?) not being happy because they were getting so many ankle injuries, with all the twisting and turning in the sand, so they pulled the plug on that. When I was living and working in Aberystwyth in the late 70s I do remember Cardiff City (for one) pre season training at Borth/Ynyslas. They would then play a preseason friendly against Aberystwyth Town FC down at Park Avenue.

Sadly I’m beginning to think that that Price goal might be the only redeeming memory we have of him 😔 Redeeming? What had he done wrong!?

he's a massive risk if we sign him next season , already had surgery and only played just over half an hour for us

The next time we see Price will be the last twenty minutes against Orient and that will be it. Next season will be a totally new look and era. Get ready for eighteen lads running up Grinshill in the middle of July and four friendlys against Stoke Birmingham Telford and Walsall... We won’t be playing Friendlies against either Brum or Stoke if they are relegated and we stay up as we will be in the same league.

If Shrewsbury Town did something similar it would probably be pants that subject you to all the sensations the club put us through.
Our commitment to beating Wycombe today must be ironclad, our "sensation" pants must remain unsoiled.

It will be interesting to see what sort of reaction Luke Leahy gets on his first return today. A very good player for us but he's a feisty competitor and doesn't mind winding up the crowd. Let's hope he doesn't get the chance of taking a penalty.

Win today and Vale & Burton lose, we're safe really. If the opposite happens we're in big trouble. It's a crazy game.

Let's hope he doesn't get the chance of taking a penalty. It’s the Leahy factor that worries me about today. He’ll have his teammates fired up and being the competitor he is, he will want to get a result .Hopefully our right hand side will be ready for it. A lot rides on today as we’ll get a second bite at the cherry against Orient. But I don’t want to leave it to the last game. Let’s as good as wrap it up today please Town!

on a dull and dreary cold day like today, deaf town fans could live the meadow atmosphere simply by wearing an alternative Newcastle shirt, as modelled here by 5 or 6 guys
