Can we get the magic 3 points Saturday, which will take us to virtual safety?
A messy 1-0 will do.
It doesn't sound like Jack Price will be involved, sadly. (calf injury)
A player too who has gone off the radar is Rayhaan Tulloch, I wonder if he will figure Saturday?

At least this isn't now a life or death match. Just go for that win.

A win would be nice but a point will be just fine as well, with the games running out.

Sooner we get the 3 points the better. May not be mathematically impossible for other teams to catch us, but psychologically itβs massive.

Confident we'll manage at least a point looking to the performances against Oxford and Pompey. Even the poor performance at Bristol resulted in a clean sheet and a point. So whilst it's not pretty and its turning into a bit of a slog we're getting there. Other results have helped though of course.
Very much a end of season vibe to the Hurst pre-match interview anyhow, he looks very relaxed about things and I think he knows we're doing enough. Not sure if Price did get a run out or not in the meantime but whilst it would be good to see him play I don't think the need is what it was. Other than that, no further injury concerns by the looks.

Sadly Iβm beginning to think that that Price goal might be the only redeeming memory we have of him π

The next time we see Price will be the last twenty minutes against Orient and that will be it. Next season will be a totally new look and era. Get ready for eighteen lads running up Grinshill in the middle of July and four friendlys against Stoke Birmingham Telford and Walsall...

Sadly Iβm beginning to think that that Price goal might be the only redeeming memory we have of him π Reading his in depth interview it would appear he is here as long as his body will allow. I was also unaware he nearly joined in Hursts first spell, thought it was Ricketts who nearly signed him.

Hurst is a massive fan of overseas trip pre season, interesting to see if the club finances allow this. The Portugal trip July 2017 worked wonders last time.

Just picking up on the injuries side of things I find it amazing that we currently have only a few yet earlier in the season were picking them up far more frequently.
I know injuries are part and parcel of the job but from having loads in the autumn to being just normal numbers now seems to be more than just coincidence.

It's almost like playing 90+ minutes of football whilst unfit increases the chance of injury.

Interestingly, I remember Wrexham had a few years doing pre-season on the beach at Aberystwyth. Would have been in the late 1970's under Arfon Grifffiths or John Neal? I remember the Physio/Trainer (George Showell?) not being happy because they were getting so many ankle injuries, with all the twisting and turning in the sand, so they pulled the plug on that.

Maybe we will be a bit higher up the table?
Maybe it won't do their careers any harm?
