I think he's played for Paul Hurst before. Right age could be on his way to the meadow

Hurst has a pretty good strike record in signing right backs from non league for Shrewsbury Town.

Is there a reason why after playing 50 games for Sc***horpe in the EFL, as a teenager he has ended up playing national league North?

Is there a reason why after playing 50 games for Sc***horpe in the EFL, as a teenager he has ended up playing national league North? He only left Scunny in March as they headed for relegation to the Conference North, which is the league Boston are in. Worrying fact is that he was with Scunny during their successive relegations from L2 down to the NCN and he didn't have a club until he signed for Boston in October

Is there a reason why after playing 50 games for Sc***horpe in the EFL, as a teenager he has ended up playing national league North? There will be a reason. It could be the same reason as to why Shaun Whalley played 50 games in the EFL before spending the next 6 years in the conference and conference north. Or perhaps the same why reason after playing 50 games in the EFL, Alex Rodman then spent the following two years in the conference.

A big jump in standard to League 1...... I am sure there would have been similar thoughts around here when Hurst brought in the likes of Rodman, Nsiala, and Bolton. Admittedly, not all will work out like those 3.

Aged 22 with some proper experience in the lower leagues - will be cheap, keen and may come good for us.

Good to get confirmation that Barry's doing that thing again where he browses Twitter and nicks info from there to try and make himself look like he's ITK. Hopefully Jai Rowe is able to get good service into the box for Alfie May.

If others are in for him, as we are led to believe then Hurst acting quickly must mean he thinks the young man can improve and has a chance. I’m prepared to cut the manager some slack and trust his judgement

Here's where MM comes in, while PH is busy trying to get 50 points on the board, MM will be chasing him to sign, on the right terms.

I too trust Hursts judgement based on what he achieved in his first spell. It will now depend upon the budget he is given and how many high earners are released. We seem to have quite a large squad, many of whom cannot make the bench but are still on contract for another year or even two. A lot of work to do for both Hurst and Moore.
It will be a very interesting summer and I'm sure we now have the right people to sort us out.
