Miss Kiddy as an away day. Believe the pies aren't the same people mind.
Would be great if we could just jump on the train there one day too.

Shame we don't play more of these type of friendlies during the season, especially as we don't have a reserve team.
Pity though it's behind closed doors.

Also imagine the effort of making the game with fans allowed is quite large and the income made pretty minimal. Surprised there aren't more behind closed games tbh. Surely it would have helped some players coming back from injury

Surely it would have helped some players coming back from injury I always thought that was "the plan"as part of the excuse for not having a reserve team. However it's never really happened,we should be playing regular behind close doors matches against other full time professional teams who are in the same boat,ie Kiddy, TNS,Walsall etc

Was hoping we might have expanded on the FLT game where we threw on lots of youngsters to give them an idea of what first team football was like. Did it in the last game where there was nothing to play for.
A game like that every few weeks would surely be of benefit to the fringe players.

Lost 4-1 was played at Sundorne Any idea on the line-up? Sorry can't give you a direct link off my phone but it's on the O/S under news. Mostly U18s with Burgoyne,Subowhale, Iwuso and the new lad v a full strength Kiddy side

Intrigued none of the loan players featured, as Anderson and Kenneh especially aren't getting minutes, and Hinchy's are still limited.
Wonder if they are getting any youth football back with their parent clubs

Pre Carlisle, Hurst commented the two weeks "gives us a chance to look at plans for moving forward to next season, looking at players and things like that." So no loan payers as likely not part of plans for next season.

I heard that most of the first team have the week off after winning 2/3 games last week. Dan Udoh’s going to my Grand Sons school today, not because he’s working but because he used to live next to his teacher and said he would when he had the time. So might be off but still doing great things 👍

So might be off but still doing great things 👍 just heard town played a practice match against them and lost 2-0 He was actually training the girls but Rory’s teacher who knows him, knows Rory’s dead keen so she’s getting him to come into his class to say hi. She got him to sign a town shirt but Dan insisted on taking it to the club to get all the players to sign it. Top man

Wonder if they are getting any youth football back with their parent clubs I think Hinchy is likely rested as its struggling to come up to speed in the League One game, that said the Kiddy game would have been good for him. Kennah is away on international duty or close to going. Anderson, it seems a very long road back for him now, especially as Flanagan and Sraha are ahead of him, that said Pierre is out for the season.
