Definitely..... it's not the lads fault he's gorra play there...but should of been sorted mths ago.... otherwise, we'll be found out, against a decentish team I can see it becoming: Marosi Winchester - Dunkley - Sraha - Benning Price - Hinchey Bloxham - Bayliss - Shipley Udoh Doubt the new bloke who was on the bench Saturday hasnt been signed not to be playing during the run in.

My point was in response to the goading about why fans aren’t moaning this weekend. In answer to your question does it really matter? Hopefully complaints over our fitness and the like won’t matter into next season, but I think the questions over Moore, recruitment and the like will remain unclear until well into next season. The worst thing we could do as a club is bury our heads and say ‘Hurst kept us up so all is well and let’s crack on in the exact same way’. We could have had a much more enjoyable season if the loan players could have contributed and Mata could have made more of an impact. It's a fair point, all we needed was for the loan players and Mata and the other permanent signings to play better and we'd have won more games and be top of the league, and we'd all be praising Moore. But instead of this massively hypothetical situation all we've got to go on is what's actually happened.

The lesser seen triple negative hard at work here. I think I've worked out what you're talking about, and if so I'd be inclined to disagree. I think there's every chance he's been signed to provide cover and we won't see much of him.

I see we're back to abusing fellow fans, "Anti-town fans" is back 🤡 Truly embarrassing after a cracking three points away at our rivals! Hardly abuse. Are you looking for a reaction? Just pointing out how fickle some fans are I guess. I thought it’s been very peaceful on here despite some fishing 🎣

I mentioned last week that it is difficult to Judge Moore this season due to all the loan players being a complete failure with injuries and the gambles on unknown players not paying off. Can you see why people are judging him based on what you've said? Those failures and gambles which have not paid off that you mention are his signings. Of course there is an argument that it's just his first season so should be given at least one more opportunity to get it right. However patience is a rare commodity in football, plus when you factor in our financial position I can understand why some fans are not keen on him being given another opportunity to lead the recruitment Of course but it was still worth the gamble. If Mata, Sobwale or Idowu would have (could still) turned into decent league 1 players we could have been looking at a decent transfer fees. Can't blame MM for the injuries to the loan players who all looked decent on paper and could have led to a very different season. At the start of the season we had a decent core group of players that were used to playing together, some promising unknown players with potential and some quality loan signings backed up by some youngsters. That is the ideal model imo. Poor management, unlucky injuries and the Irish lads not adjusting quick enough to league 1 football has been our downfall not the preparation imo. I am still not 100% sure what MM does other than pick head coaches and negotiate contracts. Who knows how much he is involved in the scouting of players etc. I think next season will be a better chance to Judge MM who will be assisted by an experienced manager and a lot more freedom with the budget as the majority are out of contract.

You say 'worth the gamble' but we are supposedly a skint club and the only money we've spent on players is 3 attacking players from Ireland who have contributed one goal. I have no idea how much they have cost us but that doesn't seem a good ratio to me You say poor management is a problem but Moore was the one who appointed him. You say the Irish lads not adjusting was to blame but Moore oversees the recruitment of these players. You say 'he will be assisted by an experienced manager', the model was supposedly an inexperienced coach supported by an experience DoF, not the other way around. I'm not necessarily saying he should go, I'm just saying that I can fully understand why fans are questioning what he brings and what his future is. Mods - I appreciate this has gone off topic so probably does sit better in the Mickey Moore thread if you want to move it
