Disgusting elbow on Sherriff and acted the head injury to make it look like a normal collision. If Rene Howe was thug of the year 2011 this lump is the 2012 entry.
Best wishes SCS

Dislocation of the shoulder?
Whatever it was it was malicious by Dickinson, he'd already received a last warning from the clown in black for doing similar on Grandison about 10 mins beforehand.

I think it was shoulder - not sure.
and agree that Dickenson was lucky to stay on the pitch - according to Shrewsplayer and coverItLive comments

SCS may have concussion as well as a dislocated shoulder. Should be out for quite sometime.

Thought the ref got the Morgan card right, and broadly wasn't quite as bad as some in the ground suggested, but how he didn't book Dickinson for a dangerous challenge I will never know
He didn't use an elbow but just launched himself at Sheriff and was as clear a yellow card as you will get, and certainly put the players safety in danger.
Only plus point was it seemed to upset Southends players as much as ours. Think they all knew it was a bad challenge

What seemed crazy was the ref got the captain alongside and issued a warning.
If it was that bad why not book him?

As much as I hate him after that he can't totally be the evil swine off the pitch after checking his Twitter it appears he wears the pink armbands to support cancer research.
Still on the pitch a t**t!

Still on the pitch a t**t! well clearly his philosophy is that they die from him and not cancer then after todays display. Total thug, should have gone for the first one on sharps first half, let alone the rest

I've just looked at the BBC report on the game and it shows Dickinson had one yellow card. Did the ref bottle the SCS challenge because he would have then had to send him off and he couldn't face doing that for whatever reason.
I don't care what he wears on his armbands he is as has been said a total thug. Just hope SCS recovers soon - can't imagine the rest of the season without him somehow!

He made 5 fouls today according to the stats and for me was lucky to stay on the field.

He has just tweeted:
Hope sheriff is ok and returns back to action asap #No intent what so ever
Whatever - why "challenge" for a header he was never going to win if he had no intent?

I'd have more respect for him if he held his hand up and said it was a bad challenge. I'm sure he didn't intend Sherriff to end up in the state he did, but you can't clatter into people like that then claim no intent was there

Like Simmo's diabolic comment he's clearly talking about the tweets he's received. Can't see the point of directly abusing the guy especially if you haven't seen a replay.

I don't tweet myself, but if he's claiming there was "no intent" then could someone ask him if there was also "no intent" when he went smashing into the back of Sharps's head in the first half for no apparent reason? I'd genuinely love to know what, if anything, he has to say about that. Oh, and it's also very important that all of you continually remind him of the score.

Morgan seems to be talking about appealing. For me he will get a 3 game ban and possibly loose some wages. Both challenges were poor

Salop fans are embarrassing themselves on his twitter. Absolute disgrace. I don't think Dickinson jumped thinking of hurting SCS. Its fickle behavior by those few who have wished that he 'brakes his leg' - Get a grip and grow up. I'm sure you weren't all wishing Gornell a broken leg when he went two footed into a keeper stomach, or Grandison a broken leg when he wiped out Robinson last season.
Its fortunate for our club that we have a majority of good fans who balance our your foolish, petty, pathetic behavior.
That being said, I do think in the grand scheme of things, the ref should have sent him off as it was his 3rd challenge after the yellow card. He's a quality player at this level and today showed how good our defense is as he barely got a sniff.

But other than that, he deserves everything he is getting.
