Tyrese Campbell has just scored a couple in about 5 minutes,so I wouldn't bet he'll be coming here any time soon......

Some decent results for us today. No chance of Tyrese coming on loan now

Martin, you actually make some good posts on this forum, but why do you have to continually throw in a bit of abuse or judgement to everyone who posts something you don’t agree with? Why the need for the “absurd comment” remark? You would have made your point just as well with the post about the age, but no, you’ve got to throw in a dig The suggestion we can't afford Doyle is absurd. That's a fact my friend, not a dig. No it’s your opinion. There is nothing factual about it, unless you are in control of our finances and have spoken to Bradford about his likely price tag, my friend.

The suggestion we can't afford Doyle is absurd. That's a fact my friend, not a dig. how much can we afford ? bearing in mind there are rules, which we actually adhere to Too many variables to answer that, loan with agreement to buy in Summer, players to sell, loanees to return, players to loan out, continued cup run.... even Roland could chip in with a ‘gift’ in return for more shares.......we could even sell some car parking spaces or mortgage the ground and go for a championship striker (did somebody mention Will Griggs) Having said that I’d be very surprised if we signed Doyle or any other striker on such form....

Having already played for Bradford and Swindon this season, under rules used last year doesn't that mean Doyle can't play for anyone other than those clubs for the rest of the season?

Some decent results for us today. We've dropped two places, the only result that went our way was Rochdale beating Accrington Stanley.

Having already played for Bradford and Swindon this season, under rules used last year doesn't that mean Doyle can't play for anyone other than those clubs for the rest of the season? Good spot. Unless they've changed that rule, then Doyle finds himself in a Brad Walker situation. So if Bradford do recall him, he either changes his attitude towards playing for them, or finds himself not doing much until June. We (or anyone else) could of course buy him and then loan him to Swindon for the rest of the season! Such is the stupidity of that rule.

Callum Lang but an outside gamble could well be Torquay’s Jamie Reid

Some decent results for us today. We've dropped two places, the only result that went our way was Rochdale beating Accrington Stanley. That was a bad result for us. We needed Rochdale to lose points. Winning today and at Rotherham has put them within 7 points of us with the inevitable loss for us at Rochdale to come. MK Dons are picking up too. Just as well Tranmere lost. On the positive side, we are still only 4 points off the playoffs with a game in hand over everyone except Fleetwood, and 2 games in hand over Peterborough. And we still have to play 7 of the bottom 9 at the Meadow.

An Accrington win would have see us in 15th rather than 14th.

An Accrington win would have see us in 15th rather than 14th. Depends which end of the table you are looking at. I prefer us to have a double digit advantage over the bottom 3 sides. No problem with Bolton and Southend, but otherwise only Tranmere fit that bill.

No, the better result would have been for Accrington and Rochdale to have drawn. That would still have kept us 14th, but would have meant a 9 point gap between us and Rochdale.

Danny Hylton could interest a few clubs as Luton indicated he might be available for loan. He had a bad injury at the start of the season but was expected to recover from that by the year end, but he was still unavailable for selection today.

Only two teams above us won (Cov and Rotherham) and yes Burton overtook us but we still have a game in hand on them. So all in all a good day yes.

I see Barrow AFC won rather convincingly today 7-0 They have a striker , and I admit this bit makes me laugh me tits off , is ex Wrexham player , yes , I’ll say that again , ex Wrexham striker Scot Quigley . Scot’s mum and dad live in Bicton Village.
Barrow have had gates of 2,000 over their past 5 home games which is outstanding for a club in the middle of nowhere. Lovely part of the world mind . Barrow top of the League and could be in League 2 next season .
Is Scot worth a punt at 27 ? I don’t know but fair play to him he has done really well at Wrexham and now Barrow. Local lad doing good , well done Scotty lad .

That’s probably blown our chance of getting him on loan..... maybe, it gives us more of a chance ? we have a good recent history with bringing on Norwich players, which is a massive plus for us, I'm sure bigger clubs want him but the right words in the right ears and who knows, someone needs to work some magic that's for sure

Well, strikers apart, let’s hope Ricketts doesn’t go on the defensive option anytime soon.

Spent some years at TNS, and did well at their level, and then given a chance at Blackpool, which didn't work out either. Therefore National League/ League 2 is probably his level

Yes the jump to league is a chasm. Two points to this is that if he plays against defenders who “playing nice “ he does well. League players know how to stop you playing. He could benefit from being loaned out to div 2 level to see what he could do.

I’m hoping the Norwich connections would give us the edge, and it’s why I mentioned him as an option, but I’m thinking he’ll probably go Championship, or Norwich 1st team!
