I would think the fact that Cummings has suddenly become out of favour is potentially far more ominous. Lang was brought on ahead of him today. Fejiri has been poor all season. And if this is the case then it’s really disappointing. I think he has the potential to score a lot of goals if we played to his strengths. I just don’t think any of our forwards suit the system we play which is more worrying.

Hopefully he can get his fitness sorted, push on in the second half of the season, and put all those misinformed theories to bed, come on JC let's have 10 goals before the end of the season.

If SR could just be convinced to play a bit further up the pitch and support the forwards a bit more then Cummings could have a great second half to the season.
Don’t get me wrong yesterday was impressive and SR got the tactics spot on, but in the league there are times when it is acceptable to let the opposition have the ball a bit more in front of our defence...it’s that good. Hopefully then the goals will start coming. Cummings should be no.1 striker when fit. Don’t personally think we will see Fejiri in a Shrewsbury shirt again.

Anyone get the feeling Okenabirhie may be moved on in January?
Out of favour and out of contract in the summer.

Good call, That's more than a possibility, could be one or two surprise exits if of course the money is right, Cummings started off okay when Lang was there, think those two could create something together.

It's about time Mark Duffy joined us, before it's too late

It's about time Mark Duffy joined us, before it's too late Probably too late. He's 34. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Duffy_(footballer)But n.b. " Duffy completed the 2015/16 season for Burton having missed only one league match, against Walsall in February after twisting his ankle in training. He scored eight goals and provided numerous assists as Burton were promoted to the Championship as League One runners-up. His performances earned him selection in the PFA League One Team of the Year". " Duffy signed a two-year contract with League One club Sheffield United. Duffy won promotion from League One for a second successive year in 2017, and was also named in the PFA Team of the Year for a second time. Duffy was converted to an attacking midfield role under the management of Chris Wilder as the Blades had a solid return to the Championship finishing in 10th place. He signed a new contract with Sheffield United in January 2018. Duffy scored six goals in 38 matches in 2018–19 as Sheffield United had a very successful campaign finishing as runners-up and were promoted to the Premier League". An attacking creative midfielder is what we are needing, but both age and wage demands may go against him.

Liam Boyce’s contract is up soon, I wonder if we will make a move for him?

Looks like his agent screwed up his chances of playing in the Premiership! He was already under contract with Sheffield United until the end of this season. www.sheffieldunited.news/analysis/mark-duffy-left-sheffield-united-under-a-cloud-and-its-not-going-to-plan/“He came to see me on Thursday, I think it was, and talked about a new contract,” Wilder told the Sheffield Star. “I reminded him that he signed one 18 months back and got a rise to Premier League money. “He won’t dictate to me when he signs a new contract and neither will his agent. It’s as simple as that. “We told him that and he wanted to pursue different options".

We are following the wise maxim that you don't want your strickers to look too good in the January transfer window, witness "Tyrese Campbell now has four clubs chasing his signature in the January transfer window according to reports. The Independent says that as well as Celtic and Rangers north of the border, interest in England is now mounting with Wolves and Crystal Palace sniffing around too. Campbell, who turned 20 at the end of last month, burst back onto the first-team scene at Stoke over the festive period when his first start under Michael O'Neill resulted in a superb two-goal salvo in the 5-2 win at Huddersfield on New Year's Day".
At least I hope that's what it is

Just a rumour going round, we’re making a bid for Oliver Rathbone of Rochdale. Part of same Manchester United U23s squad a few years ago that included Ro Shaun-Williams, Donald Love and Sean Goss.

Just a rumour going round, we’re making a bid for Oliver Rathbone of Rochdale. Another one you’ve made up. Whatever happened to Leon Clarke? It was a done deal according to you. This is the same Rathbone who’s being talked about as heading to championship or premier league at over a million pounds!!

With Grant gone and one or two of the loan lads offloaded you would think for sure we'll be bringing one or two in anyhow (whether on loan or long term). Wouldn't hurt if we could get things moving sooner rather than later, already 7 days into January and we've still 6 games to go this month.
