I'm very much an "anyone bar Liverpool", don't like the "Scouse" people much with their anti-England, victim attitude continually. But on the field they're absolute quality, quality young players and a brilliant manager. Surely it won't slip? Nothing like stereo typing a whole city, Gainsparkshrew are you an England hating victim? ...absolutely no way. i'm old enough to remember us winning the World Cup in '66.. Unfortunately that also means I'm old enough to remember England in the '70s

do we have a contradiction of the year award ? ;-) ....and here we go again Pilch, you've become very tiresome with your anti-Liverpool stance. Did you watch the match?...when was the last time the top placed team went to the second placed team and beat them 4-0 on their own patch? Probably in Fergies days at United?...BTW I rate Fergie as the best manager of the modern era,and i've stated as such on this forum. Like it or lump it Liverpool were fantastic last night you forgot to mention you've won it 6 times

This is a record for a non-Welsh team....anything else?

They might be considered the best, when they win the treble.ie the euro cup,the fa cup,and the premiership.i think people are getting carried away now.see if they can defend the premiership next season first This is a forum about how Salop fair in Nationwide Football League Division Two if you hadn’t noticed *eyes roll* I call it the Premiers**te, personally.

do we have a contradiction of the year award ? ;-) Like it or lump it Liverpool were fantastic last night Yep, big time. I was cheering on Leicester and wanted them to get the win but they were never in it. Bit of a damp squib on that front, Liverpool were just too good for them and from what I have seen of them this season, Leicester are no mugs. The Premiership looks done and dusted and I'd say they have a relatively easy draw in Europe. They could go on to win it all (other than the League Cup of course, sacrificed for this world champions malarkey). I like Klopp but I just can't take to this Liverpool...say as I did when Manchester City won the league. I really didn't mind Manchester winning it at all, just don't think that way with Liverpool. Maybe because Manchester have done the rounds in the lower leagues and have suffered a fair bit in recent seasons, could be that.

Absolutely killing the game var, to disallow the equaliser is criminal. And Pilch is killing this board. He’s moved the Docherty thread much further down the homepage as it’s not to his liking, bumps Liverpool to the top of the board, then cries that everything on here is about him. You couldn’t make it up.

They’re walking the league because they’ve been the best team by miles this season. That comment isnt going to go well on this thread with a few however true it clearly is.

its about me and Man U again, on a liverpool thread Of course it’s about you, every other post in this thread is from you What do you think about the link showing that Liverpool have not actually benefitted from VAR at all this season, and that VAR is one of the main reasons they dropped their only points so far? I know you have history for ignoring all evidence when it comes to your opinions on Liverpool though, so I expect you to continue pedalling the same boring narrative when Henderson’s lifting that trophy in March.

VAR decisions are like penalty decisions in the days before VAR. Its swings and roundabouts and they mostly even themselves out over the course of a season. The powers that be are trying to make the game perfect. Gone are the good old days when you could have a good argument in the pub over referees decisions. Hopefully it will never get down to our level when we are in the championship.

Knew I shouldn't have clicked on this thread.
Anyway I am sure it's been mentioned, but VAR isn't the problem, it's the off-side laws that need to be changed.
