I don't get why people are so protective over that chant; it's not even funny or original. Hard to see how you can argue it's not racist really either. No great loss to football if people start to think twice about singing it. You never know, it might actually lead to us coming up with something vaguely original for once. What race is a gypsy? Eagerly awaiting your response to this.. I think they are part of the human race ps were you in this scene ?

The incident at Walsall train station was a result of btp having a power trip about public order. It was nothing to do with racism. Dont believe anybody was charged with racism. They were all Section 5 offences. No warnings were given at any time to desist either. Correct

I guessed you’d not like it Nicko, but you have my respect for posting positive as well as negative reviews.
Overall it has been very well received by the press and public. Perhaps you should read it.
On identity politics, I have to disagree I’m afraid.
I don’t doubt the good intent of those wanting to right social wrongs – but identity politics is a poisonous and divisive way of going about it because it sees people in tribes rather than as individuals.
My generation was brought up on Martin Luther King Jr’s plea to judge people on their character and actions; not by the colour of their skin. Identity politics says to do the opposite.

Well people aren't are they, so like I said, the book should be about people's attitudes to say Trans people and why they feel the need to be 'tribal'.
