Udoh got locked out of the changing room whilst Ricketts was doing his final team talk...

Two great chances for Edwards in the first three mins - good start town.

Goss has a wand where his left foot should be.

Goss's delivery is good. It wasn't too bad on Saturday either. Very open game.

Half chance for Whalley, very good chance for Beckles and a decent save from O'Leary. Good game this!

Giles evidently carrying a knock. Don't think he's recovered from the twinge on Saturday. Worrying.

It's Stanley who are getting the shots on target.

Luke Waterfall makes his debut against Colchester with old boy Jon Hendrie alongside him.

Some excellent football from Stanley resulting in a good save from O'Leary. A number of openings for Stanley that area in front of the backs seems to be a bit of a void for Town. Stanley moving the ball very quickly.

Luke Waterfall makes his debut against Colchester with old boy Jon Hendrie alongside him. I thought he played for Grimsby on Saturday?

Mccormick has been poor - keeps trying to play with it in CM and losing it. Thompson for McCormick and Udoh for Morrison judging by the first half

Good half from Salop.
Good football played largely on the deck. Lots of good flick ins from Morison and picked up by Whalley
Goss and Love excellent
Max solid in net
Giles not able to beat his man so far and Chelsea lad lacking
This game is there to win for Town

Inb4 anyone criticises the lack of on target.
Ifollow stats says 2 clear cut chances to 0 for town. Very bright start but faded toward end of half.
O leary 2 comfortable saves otherwise we've been untroubled. Looking for that extra edge now. Mccormick faded worse than most and guilty of some horrible aimless passing.

Watching on ifollow. Accrington look most likely.
Can’t see where the goals are coming from.
Not much to add other than...
O’Leary - Looks class. What a signing. Pierre- Solid but lacks any quality in distribution. McCormick - Poor. Can’t see him being strong enough at this level. Goss - Looks a player. Decent passer and looks to break quick. Intelligent. Morison - Won a few headers but pretty anonymous. Looked spent after 15 minutes.
No shots on target, 45% possession.
Got to do better second half if we are to get anything from this game.

The game seems to be completely passing Edwards by. Time for him to get involved and stamp his authority in the middle of the park.

Jordan Clarke involved in practically everything for Stanley. I really can't understand why we released him. Anyway, an enjoyable game so far, although you have to say Accrington were getting on top towards half time and our keeper has been the busier, including one outstanding stop. This is the first chance I've had to watch us this season, and so far it's been a lot less dour that I had expected based on most of what I'd read up until now. We do look a little light up front, but hopefully there's enough creativity in midfield to see us through.

Feel we need to grab it by the scruff of the neck in the middle.
Maybe Thompson for mccormick early in second if we don't get a positive start.

Funny how we all see the same game differently. I thought we've defended well, look much much better in the middle and we've broken generally pretty well. Been unlucky with some half chances and very much have this as a game to win if we keep playing the way we have.

Luke Waterfall makes his debut against Colchester with old boy Jon Hendrie alongside him. Did we get a goodbye and thank you message/tweet from Waterfall? I can't recall.

Steve maligned morison won the initial header leading to the move. Shouldve buried it.
