I like the way the head of recruitment, Tommy Widdrington, is now in charge. He recruited Tisdale and before that oversaw Garner being appointed. If I was the owner I'd have my doubts about Widdrington. Then again, if I was a supporter I have my doubts about the owner. Thank god for Roland.

Keith Curle has gone as well...

Keith Curle has gone as well... Quite understandable: Curle leaves with Northampton 23rd in Sky Bet League One having claimed only one win from their past 10 league matches. They also went out of the EFL Trophy to MK Dons last month and remain the lowest scorers in the division with just 20 goals in 26 games.

Hope he secured a good pay-off clause in his two and a half year contract!

Job for Frank Lampard. He can stay at mum and dads Frank’s mum died a few years back, but he could stay with her sister and Uncle ‘Arry at Sandbanks, just a 20 minute drive from the ground.

Let’s hope Simmo is a success at City, then they won’t be visiting SC... to me it’s a no brained for the pair of them, he has shown he still has what it takes, and he is Bristol based and would jump at the chance.

So both Bristol clubs are with temporary managers. Thank goodness we got SC when we did. Tommy Widdrington, who appointed the last 2 Bristol Rovers managers, took charge last night and got off to a good start beating Pompey 3-1 at home. Hopefully that form doesn't continue when we go there a week on Saturday!
