And I thought he had returned to his spiritual home. Certainly that's how it looked to one and all when he moved back up north.

Interesting. Another amicable split. He's an amicable guy. True but it made me wonder if he has another job lined up.

Where did that one come from! Poor Everton fans. It's similar to Hurst going to Ipswich

Indeed. It seems very sudden and sneaky. Saw a few tweets suggesting he was going to Real Madrid a couple of weeks ago.

Yes, Nuno to Everton is likely I’d say. Nuno is favourite for the Palace job, according to a Wolves fan on Twitter. Just checked he’s 2/1 favourite for both jobs, think he’d rather join Everton. Lampard was clear favourite for the Palace job at one stage.

Crumbs that looks to be an awful mess. They are targeting Flynn from Newport. He would have to be mad to take that job.

Scott Parker has taken over as head coach at Bournemouth on a three-year contact after leaving Fulham.
The former England midfielder, 40, took over at Fulham in February 2019, but could not stop them being relegated from the Premier League that season.

Barnsley have appointed Markus Schopp from Austrian side TSV Hartberg as their new head coach on a three-year contract.
The 47-year-old former Sturm Graz and Austria midfielder joins the Tykes having previously led Hartberg to the Europa League qualifying round in 2020.

Rochdale have allowed manager Brian Barry-Murphy to leave the club at his request, following their relegation to League Two.
The former Dale midfielder, 42, was appointed in 2019 after initially taking over on a caretaker basis.
Barry-Murphy twice guided them to safety in League One but last season saw them fail to avoid the drop.
Lee Riley and Jim McNulty will now take temporary charge of the club until a successor is found.
A club statement said that Barry-Murphy was released from his contract after the board was approached by his representative.
