It is outrageous, but I'll still be going.
I suppose I'm lucky in that travel doesn't cost me a huge amount (if anything at all!) but I can imagine this will put a lot of people off travelling.

Last League game at Portman Road was 1989 so worth the £7 for the novelty.

Not sure what the issue is We are playing at the ground most league 1 fans want to visit this season A side who have not so long ago been a premiership regular , a side with European success in the 80s Had town been relegated last season we would still be charging £22 for certain West stand tickets So overpriced that they hardly ever sell Hahaha, now that's logic for you: Ipswich won a UEFA Cup in the 80s and therefore all supporters who watch them play in the third tier in 2019 should pay a 35% mark-up on what is widely considered to be an acceptable ticket price. Perhaps we should consider increasing our admission prices since we've won six Welsh Cups.

Speaking of Ipswich and the welsh cup didn’t town once force us to turn up at a welsh cup game in order to buy an fa cup ticket from the buffet inside the ground ? Let’s stop being petty , every club sits down and decides what the max they can get away with charging Town certainly apply this tactic

Ipswich are probably just trying to recoup the £2m+ they spunked on Toto & Nolan 12 months ago...neither of whom were in the Ipswich match day squad on Saturday

I was at an alternative game in Burton on Saturday and there were plenty Ipswich fans travelling up to Burton Albion. Overheard some saying they hoped they would both be back in the 1st team and thought they could do a good job for them this season.
Reading on their website they expect a £9m loss in revenue this season having cut season tickets prices this season and this will be frozen next year even if they are promoted. They have also cut matchday prices so £27 is less than last season in the Championship!
