Contrast the feel around the club to any other stage over the past six even 12 months and things do certainly feel good. Long may it continue. Early doors yet and we have no idea where things will head but you just get the feeling that things are being done in the right way, very much business like. Whether that'll bring about success is still to be seen but I do like the way the club is going about things at the moment.

Like him or loathe him, Ched Evans is a proven goalscorer.

Don't understand it myself, had his career ruined and proved his innocence. Proved his innocence? Have a read of THIS. Whether what he did was 'legal' or not, it was certainly despicable and unforgivable in my opinion and I'd rather he wasn't employed by my football team.

A spokesperson for Brabners said: "We are glad that Ched Evans has agreed not to pursue this case, which we believe was entirely without merit. "Brabners put forward a strong defence of Mr Evans' claim following a thorough process and we were prepared to vigorously defend our handling of the case." Yet they then cough up £800k.

Don't understand it myself, had his career ruined and proved his innocence. No, he was found not guilty. That isn't proof of innocence - for him or anyone else.

Refer back to Stutties "like the way the club is doing things" above - we were never in a million years going to sign Evans, even if purely for his rather go to Fleetwood remarks, never mind any hint of not being a good "egg". Witness the way Grant has been shipped into the wilderness for whatever happened with him.

Getting back on topic, he sounds like a good player and somebody we tried to sign last year along with Barnsley but he ended up at Ipswich. From what I’ve read about him he’s good on the ball and tackles hard- could be just what we need. I’ve also read that Edun becomes nude when backwards.

Bit concerned this hasn’t gone through yet. Worried others may get wind of this and be working to scupper the deal.

Yep, with all this gender neutrality going about, he could well sign for Arsenal Ladies.
