Dozens of MPs are thought to have asked for proxies to cast their votes rather than turning up in person.
Hmmm.

Something like 15 more hustings they're having aren't they? For ****'s sake, this from the party which likes to lecture the public sector on "efficiency".
Surely it's not beyond them to stream a single event nationwide and give members a log in is it? Why the need for the endless rounds of votes and debates, all the while important stuff like brexit and, er, running the country get kicked into the long grass.

The country has a surplus of similarly “nice chaps” of all faiths and none and of various political colours. And that such people are out there teaching kids and others is rather a bit of a worry... He should throw his hat into the ring and run for leader of the tory party, he’d fit right in! Seriously, heard lots of people having a pop at this guy and from what I hear rightly so, but is he really any worse a human being than boris fuvkin johnson?

So it's Hunt and the other C(hap).
May the best man win, though that's not saying much. Does the idea of Corbyn for PM look so scary now? If so, why?

It’s not as if there’s much evidence of any new thinking going on, or any thinking at all for that matter. Just seems to be an endless round of Tories saying how great other Tories are, empty promises of how brexit-tough they’re going to be and outrageous dishonesty about what they’ll do to put right the country they’ve governed for 9 years. Meanwhile, the country is left whistling in the dark while this navel-gazing goes on and on. The only good thing is that one of these t**ts will be taking ownership of the stinking mess they’ve helped create, especially if it’s Johnson.

For once I agree with you about his brexit stance.

I predict a pat on the back and a huge well done from the Neanderthals of the B&A right wing faction for mark field and his brutish actions.
And no he shouldn’t be sacked if anyone asks cos clearly Jeremy Corbyn is a terrorist sympathiser 👍

He's made it the norm for anyone who's political opinion that is right of his to be classed as a right wing extremist. It's absolutely absurd.

I’ll kindly oblige - that woman was breaking the law by trespassing and deserved to be chucked out by MP Field

And no he shouldn’t be sacked if anyone asks cos clearly Jeremy Corbyn is a terrorist sympathiser 👍 Neanderthals? Right wing "faction". Where you do you get this stuff from?! Anyhow... Mark Field is clearly wrong for what he did and how he acted. He needs to be reprimanded big time, that behavior is simply not acceptable. To suggest he acted because he thought the woman was potentially armed is laughable. Whether he will be sacked or whether he should be sacked though, I'm not so sure looking to what happened. It was bad but it wasn't that bad. I know of course the rabid lefty lobby (how's that one, is that how this works? ) will be after their pound of flesh but...not sure. Wouldn't surprise me if he is, wouldn't surprise me if he isn't, wouldn't surprise me if he stands down on his own accord or does so under pressure. Whether Corbyn being a terrorist sympathiser will have any bearing on that decision though, not as confident as you clearly are that that would be the case...

I’ll kindly oblige - that woman was breaking the law by trespassing and deserved to be chucked out by MP Field I'm sure there were people there who were there specifically to deal with such things. Perhaps in a more appropriate way. He clearly saw the red mist and decided to take things into his own hands. He shouldn't have done so. He should not be acting in that way.

Stutty is right. There is other video of other gentlemen, quietly and politely ushering the other women away, with please and thank yous.
However, I disagree about the seriousness of it. Hands on and all that. When you consider a bloke got done the other day for throwing milkshake at Farage, it will be interesting to see how this is dealt with.

Shows the echo chamber effect of social media when this sort of incident is judged by which end of the political spectrum you're on.

Field could perhaps do quite a good job as a steward in the West Stand. Hopefully there will be a lot of Tory chumps looking for a job sometime in the next couple of years. Of course, to get a cushy directorship in finance they will probably have to move to the EU.

Are you saying that movement between the EU and UK will continue if and when the UK actually leaves the EU? That it won't come to a sudden and grinding halt? That people will still be able to move between the two in order to live, work, study or whatever? That Brits, just like all the other foreign nationals from non-EU counties now living and enjoying their time here in the EU, will still have that option available to them? Steady now.
