The Shrewsbury born killer of Alesha from Bute has been given leave to appeal his sentence of 27yrs. I cant think why on earth this has been granted. He is not appealing his conviction so he now admits he did it. For me personally he should never see the light of day again. How much money is this appeal going to cost. Its just money in the pockets of the defence solicitors and more stress for the poor girls family.

I can highly recommend the "Secret Barrister-Stories of the Law and How It's Broken" by, erm, the Secret Barrister.
Explains the workings of the appeal system, and how offenders are sentenced.

its disgusting, some low life commits this appalling crime, and their only concern is that they have been given too much time in pokey.
