Possibly another 6 points more yet! Yes, surely can’t get away without punishment for calling off a game. If so maybe anyone with an injury crisis could do it

Confirmation then that SR cannot be sacked as Town boss if he looses first four games because we are bottom of the league.

Bolton have a huge job on next season to avoid back to back relegations. They will need something like a top 10 season performance, i.e. around 62 points, to be safe once the current deduction is taken into account and, as has been said, they could have an even bigger deduction yet.

Well run clubs like Town will only benefit if these badly run clubs get their cum uppance.

They do need to be punished, but I feel sorry for the fans.shamefull owners bringing clubs to their knees and then just disappearing into the sunset, and the club's they've ruined taking many years to rebuild.it's a warning to all of us.

I really hope for some transparency for Bolton fans, in finding out how this club was brought to its knees.
There is an ever increasing gap now between the haves and have nots in football

Looks like a weak league next season.. time to invest in the team I don’t see it being weak. Obviously Bolton and probably Bury will struggle, but I fancy Ipswich to go straight back up, Rotherham to be at least as strong as when they beat us, two of Pompey, Sunderland or Charlton will still be with us, plus Lincoln are on a roll and I imagine MK will strengthen. A lot of competition for top 6 places

Rotherham are Rotherham.. they’ll be in and around the playoffs I’m hopeful Sunderland will go up, mk didn’t set league 2 alight, and I can’t see Lincoln doing a Luton.

A Food Bank has been set up for Bolton non playing staff who haven't been paid since April. Perhaps the highly paid players could donate a bit and what about the directors.

Shocking, but in the meantime many people make a fortune out of being in football and happily take it without much thought to situations like this.

Including no doubt players at BWFC on stupid wages, and then wonder why it runs out, but I have a great deal of sympathy for the "ordinary" employees, but the players I'm afraid can go do one, just my opinion.

We'll probably be signing a couple of them!

The Chairman of Bolton, Ken Anderson, is an interesting character. In September 2005 he was disqualified from being a company director for eight years after his firm Professional Sports International Ltd and seven of his other companies went bust.
That disqualification order had concluded by the time Anderson arrived at Bolton, which explains the green light from the EFL. That is despite the Official Insolvency Services notice which stated he had failed to ensure his companies paid VAT, then failed to co-operate with liquidators. The order added that at PSI "Mr Anderson diverted, sought to divert PSI funds by depositing them into a personal bank account in his own name and invoicing in the name of another connected company."
Anderson is based in Monaco, and in his 1st year at Bolton took £525k out of the Club for 'Consultancy Fees' and paid another £125k to a Company owned by a family member.

As the Bolton take over saga rumbles on they're in almost as big a mess on the field as Bury.
They have just 13 players at the moment of which only seven played last season. The future of Phil Parkinson as manager is still up in the air and they are yet to put any season tickets on sale.
