If this is on offer next year, it should really be for no fee or one much reduced from the Zebra fiance fee uplift they have applied. One for the SP to keep an eye on. Majority of the 3,000 might choose to spread the cost at no fee though, limited money up front for the club. I'm torn, maybe a 4.9% fee or similar, enough to make people want to pay up front and avoid £20 odd in interest but also very low for those wanting to spread the cost.

But there is really very little reason to offer a fee. The banks dont charge any more for it, so its all on STFC. Yes they want money up front, but genuinely believe that offering say a 10 month payment plan with NO additional costs might actually be that next step to taking season ticket sales beyond 300 odd. It might be a game change for continuing to build crowds beyond an average of 6000
Nothing ventured nothing gained.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's offered at 0% next season.

This seems a thing for the SP.

The point here is that cash up front is worth more than the same payments spread over the next 10/12 months (time value of money).
It’s similar with a lot of items (such as your car insurance) where you can pay all up front for a cheaper total amount than paying by direct debit over 12 months.
STFC are essentially charging interest for the risk they face on not receiving future payments. Paid up front there’s no risk.

That’s why they call it the direct debit finance option..... why’s it completely different, your borrowing the money to buy the season ticket and paying interest, using a direct debit to make the payment ... how else would you pay it. By making it a non-finance Direct Debit and asking fans to pay over 10 months, i.e. my £310 season ticket at £31 per month. If any one then fails to pay their DD cancel their season ticket. But the club are charging interest the same as Zebra Finance were....
