...on the move. Impasse between the stadium owners and Coventry's owners means they're exploring two alternative venues. Wonder if one is Sixfields. Went there a few seasons ago for our game with Coventry last time they did this - a surreal experience. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43979047

Must be driving their support mad this, what a mess. Lord knows what we'll encounter when we head down there in a couple of weeks but there is going to be an awful lot of anger about the place... Goes without saying of course that I hope we are safe by then but it really does add some weight to that considering we might see some protests during the game with Coventry fans focused on nowt else but the ground situation (they'll not be troubled by relegation or promotion). Could really do without all that if we are desperate for points...

It seems we are their last match there as well.

Burton or Birmingham or the common suggestions on social media I would think Burton would be the better fit. They didn't get too many when they were playing in Northampton with (I think) just a couple of thousand who were prepared to ignore the boycott. You just wonder whether a second move would even break the patience of those who were willing to travel elsewhere for home games the last time around. I suppose Blues would be closer but its no fun watching a game of football every other week with a couple of thousand fans rattling around in a ground that can hold 30,000.

Where would Shrewsbuy play if the same thing happened to us. Wrexham would be a bit controversial.Telfords ground a bit small,Wolves ground a bit big and they would want too much money.Anone for Crewe? Walsall perhaps.

God forbid this should happen, as there is no palatable option. But if push came to shove I would go for Telford, as it's literally just down the road and would be the most convenient, least costly option for our fans.

Kidderminster would be the next best option after Telford.

Really don't understand why the coventry fans are still supporting the club. i know it's hard, but continuing to fund sisu, the owners who have destroyed them for years is surely counter productive

Sisu are professional investors /asset strippers. Their sole intention is to make returns for their investors. They've no interest in the team and it is blatantly obvious if they had ever got ownership of the Ricoh it would've been sold for redevelopment. By continuing to support, they are defacto supporting Sisu. They should stage Blackpool style en masse demonstrations. It would be painful but Sisu would eventually find the returns drying up and would sell up and move on.

I thought that the owners wanted the stadium for rugby union and concerts, football isn’t in their plans.
It’s been suggested locally that Cov start again and play at The Butts which is the old rugby ground- capacity 1,000.

As soon as Wasps became involved it seemed to me that it would only be a matter of time before Coventry City got chucked out.
