I can categorically confirm that, unlike the Inspector, I was not there.
However, Central Park is one of my all time favourite grounds. It's so old-skool it makes Gay Meadow look like the MK Stadium, or whatever the **** it's called these days.

The furniture was very similar as well! But the warmth of the greeting from the Board of Directors and team manager made up for any lack of décor. Although you wouldn't want to fall out with Gary Bollan!

In one post you say it was nice to meet him and in another ask which one he is! I’m confused..........
When I said I'd met him, I was Joe King. I don't have a clue who he is!
I’m scratching my white feathered bonce here in bemusement, who was the lad who brought me a whisky in Wee Jimmy’s? PS I intentionally used ‘brought’ as opposed to ‘bought’

The drinking some Juan else's pint in Wee Jimmies was hilarious. Especially as it wasn't mine! Also very funny walking back to the railway station and a bloke asked Fulham Stu, (who was wearing his Cowden hat), "Hoo did they git on?". His face was a treat when a cockney accent replied, "Juan two Juan"! Add that to when Stu D went over the road to put a bet on the Scottish National, the bookie asked him what he was doing in Cowden. When Stu said he was going to watch Cowden play Elgin City, the bookie mumbled, "that's ninety minutes of yer leaf ya won't git back!".
You up for a return visit next season? Several others are.
Wonderful club, Cowdenbeath.
